Yes and I’ve done it multiple times since the expansion launch.

Just as long as you are able to heal Kael, you should be good.

What do you use to heal him? Trinket? Toy? Bandage?

I don’t run Castle Nathria on this character. I would do that on my druid. If only Kael was considered undead, I could heal him with Death Coil.

I use my paladin to do Nathria. As ret, its as simple as a few WoGs or a LoH.

I’ve soloed up to Kael on my warlock, didn’t feel like I wanted to mess with bandages so once I get my Druid or priest up to 80 I’ll try it again. With more gear the other raids will be easy too, I soloed up to Xymox in Sepulcher but I wasn’t able to defeat either him or the First Ones with my gear a few weeks back.

Edit: oh I could definitely do it on my Paladin she’ll be the next I level

You have to heal somebody?

That sucks. I want to run it on my Death Knight.

It’s very doable and pretty easy. The other 2 shadowland raids however have some roadblocks that make soloing them outside a select few classes rough/impossible.

For example, Kel’Thuzad is impossibly to solo as a non-pet class because going inside his Phylactery will end the encounter but if you don’t do that mechanic you just instantly die.
Artificer Xy’mox is in a similar situation in that the AoE they do that you would normally avoid through use of portals and mechanics appears to be impossible unless you can tank through the damage.

But for the most part, yeah, Mythic Shadowlands Raids are absolutely soloable.

Oh shoot, I forgot about Kaelthas. You can probably bandage him. TWW Bandages heal for a ton.

I thought shadowlands raids wasn’t legacy content yet so you’d only get 1 drop.

i run it with windwalker monk. heals are enough for kael. easy

make sure on denathrius you let him cleanse you 4 times before the drop down

it becomes legacy when you’re 11 levels over the content i believe.

ret and mythic. it’s all doable.

  1. Stock up on 2-star bandages

  2. Clear the room of everything then bandage Kael (you may need to stand a few feet away from his platform), it won’t heal him much but it’ll help him survive his first tantrum

  3. Kill adds and survive until the ones that drop anima globes (not lanterns) go down, you might want to pop a defensive CD when Kael’thas has his tantrum since it hits for a few million

  4. Make sure the room is clear, make sure Recently Bandaged has fallen off Kael, then grab 3 or all 4 of the globes (they increase your healing done) and bandage him, you’ll clear 50% and start the first intermission

  5. Blow up Kael’ghost

  6. Repeat above steps a second time
