Can we show some love for the Classic DeV TEAM?!

MUCH LOVE! Thanks for the updates and sincere interest regarding feedback. We know you’re doing your best to emulate the most authentic Vanilla experience with the parameters that Blizzard/Activision have put in place and we appreciate it.

Thanks to the Classic Marketing team (or whoever was responsible for making the call) for giving Streamers access to the beta so that we can relive the hype in real-time. I know some are salty about not getting access but people forget that there are plenty of non-streamers who are in there doing real bug-testing.

Thanks for reminding us that Blizzard can still be that “Seal of Quality” brand I grew up with many years ago!

I’ve been off & on with WoW and other gaming titles over the years and while there are some good games out there, none have captured my interest like the original WoW trilogy (Vanilla, TBC, and Wotlk). I’ll kill an hour or two here and there on some MOBA game, but I am looking forward to my time back in old Azeroth.

This is a genuine thank you post. I know it’s Sunday and I know people tend to troll, but this is a sincere thank you.

Bump. I’m excited to be apart of the next stress test

The dev team is doing an awesome job! I love how they compare everything to their reference client. Keeping it true. You guys rock

Bump. Thank you Class Dev team for all your hard work and for keeping us updated regularly. There’s a lot of negativity on the forums but i like to think it’s one of those ‘vocal minority’ things.

“A part of.” Sorry, this bugs the crap out of me. “Apart” means separated from.

Can we get a bump and some love?!

I approve this thread <3

This. This! This is 1000% the kind kinda thread we need, not just to show gratitude to the Developers who are bringing WoW Players this Renaissance, but the kind kinda threads that I witnessed blowing up on Sunday, where people were posting with positivity—even about their Classic concerns.

So Thank You to the Classic Developers!

How can we help you perfect the authenticity of this game we love?

Thank you. You beat me to it.

classic devs :sparkling_heart:
and one for blizz devs too :sparkling_heart:

I agree 100% with this sentiment. Despite that there are far too many grumpy people posting threads full of negativity, the Devs for this project deserve to know they are appreciated, as is their commitment to making Classic as authentic to the original WoW as possible despite the constraints imposed by the ones in charge (loosely applied term). We want something as close to the original feel and non-pay-to-win MMORPG we once had as possible, and they seem to be staying the course. Thank you!

This! For those of us who are Vanilla Veterans, and who are in the US, what could be a better way to honor Memorial Day than to remember the spirit of cooperation that always pervaded at least my Realm? I think we sometimes forget that without that old Blizzard audacity to make a great MMORPG in the first place, we would not be eagerly awaiting the Renaissance of Classic, but we would all looking for a game like Vanilla WoW to drop.

They are not really developers they are just retrofitting old code…

Nothing new is being devolved.

And one Heart for all gamers as full of heart as Hyper, plus one for all the true-hearted, who want to help the Developers perfect this game!

That’s true, about the re-Development.

But if you think about this, one large aspect of Classic is about be turned over to the players in just a little less than three months.

So much of the development of the Classic community though is going to depend on us; on the players; in how we play this game. And I guess the question we need to ask ourselves, and answer fur ourselves, is how do you think developing aspects of the community could be improved in Classic? Not the game mechanics, or gameplay, but how can we help develop the community itself?

Their job may be even more challenging than conventional software development. They are emulating a game that resides the minds of people who played it on crappier PCs, crappier monitors, and crappier internet connections.

They even attempted to bring back spell batching for the sake of authenticity and have posted a list of bugs that are NOT bugs (they didn’t have to tell us that, they want us to appreciate its authenticity).

What makes me and others appreciative are the lengths this team is going to to ensure an accurate replication of a game that many regard the greatest MMORPG game of all time, and for myself, the greatest gaming experience I’ve ever had. They know the importance & weight of getting it right… and I get the sense they (the Classic Dev team) aren’t doing it JUST for stockholders.

Thanks again and bump again

This!

And as far as “developing” the game as a player, once Classic is released transform the aspects you may have wanted from Retail into new methods of playing the Classic WoW game.

Miss guild banks? Give your Main in Classic a third level profession, and BECOME your guild’s bank. But do more than just store items on an alt. Kept track of the prices of AH prices, let your guildies know weekly and daily what commodities like copper, linen, and Peacebloom are selling for at the AH.

Transmorg? Well, fo MORE than Saving the Appearances, help your low(~.~)bies in your guild acquire better weapons. Take your incoming, developing Classic players through the dungeons and Raids and help them get the Real Classic weapons and gear—the real is much MUCH better than just gear that LOOKS like better gear.

Develop new ways to PLAY this reborn game…

Well done guys and gals enjoying it!

Dear devs,

You have my hype meter on 11. Keep up the good work.
