Can we report leavers in M+

Hi,

I just find that there is no recourse for players who abandon Mythic dungeons. Can/should this be added to the existing player reporting system? That, or it’d be nice to be able to make notes on previous players in order to avoid grouping with them again.

Otherwise, thank you and I’m really enjoying the game.

Can the leaver report the person(s) who ruined the run bad enough for them to leave?

Plenty of addons for that.

This is a terrible idea. Why should anyone be forced to finish a dungeon if it’s going poorly, won’t be timed, everyone keeps wiping, won’t award rating?

People are leaving failed runs. Don’t be bad.

If they’re leaving for malicious reasons, such as deliberately causing wipes and then bailing, yeah, griefing is still reportable.

If they’re leaving because you wont time the key and you never agreed on what to do in such an event in advance, that’s your own fault.

Pretty much have it.

it would make no sense to be able to report people that leave after constant whipes on a boss, healer not being good enough to heal through a boss/trash

that said it think people should always give groups at least a 3 wipe margin for error. after that leaving is whatever

How about we report the players who do less dps than the tank, don’t interrupt, or die to avoidable mechanincs?

It’s always interesting that bad players point fingers at leavers instead of thinking about why they left. If you face leavers frequently enough to be a problem, then you are probably the problem.

I always do. I doubt anything comes of it but I report every single one of them.

If you clearly list your group as completion, yes. There is an option for inappropriate communication. However, if your group wasn’t listed as completion, and they didn’t say they’re going to complete in return to admission into your key, they have a right to leave whenever they want. No broken promise there.

As it should be.

No.

Add them to your own personal blacklist then - the rest of us will continue not caring.

I’ve started simply reporting the whole team before we even start the run. If we succeed, I cancel my complaints via wordy email.

Player get toxic in M+, bye Felicia! Plz black list me , never want on your team again.

No matter what, this is still a game. M+ is IMO the most difficult aspect of WOW, they will go sideways from time to time.

Just put the person who left on ignore and you’ll never see them again. It isn’t hard.

and murphy’s law will happen in M+ think you going fine then boom a slap in the face

Blizzard won’t do anything.

For the millionth time NOONE should be forced to stay with a group that continually fails just so it doesn’t burn your key.

If you want to group with people that won’t leave make friends, join a guild, do it that way. That way you’re protected.

If you’re unwilling to put in the effort to do that then I don’t know what to tell you man.

But no one should ever be forced to stay.

People have every right to leave a run in progress, for any reason. There’s also the chance that they may not have left willingly: Acts of the Light and all that.

It stinks, but if a run is going sour people aren’t likely to spend time and money for little benefit.

No.

What is stopping you from doing that?
