Can We Remove Mounts From Collection?

As for someone who only wanna collection PERFECTION, I do have some unnecessary mounts
Like: All ground mounts that i would never use, they only rot in my collection (Fingers pointed at Mythic+ mounts)

  • Can Tickets Solve this? OR hope for PERFECT Collection isnt possible…?
  • Idk i think there should be a button to Release mounts and BE FREE Just like Pets

This and you can set mounts to favorite that will bring it to the top of your lists of collections.

I just wish we could expansion categorize mounts to make it easier to find them. I don’t remember the names of them all and my favorite lists is just as long

No. Most emphatically, no. Customer Service can not make changes to game design and does not pass on feedback to Developers. That is not their job.

Providing feedback for the game is done via the Community Forums like this one, or via the in-game feedback tool.

We should just have a “storage” type of cosmetic tab where you can store unwanted mounts, transmogs, heck even characters.

When they’re in that tab they’re gone as if you never had them, they don’t show up on your mount list, transmog tab, or character list.

With 500+ mounts, the mount collection tab needs a serious overhaul.

Im Sure theres more people that wish their collection is clean and easy on the Eyes (Removing mounts OR Make things clean)

Adding a mount just for +1 ? that’s just meaningless and also even if you’re going for the mount achievement, and after you’re done, it would be a great way to clean up what you got IMO

The idea of releasing mounts is fundamentally flawed because there’s many you get from achievements. How’d you get them again if you released them? I can also see folks accidentally pressing release and with how many achievements are tied to mount collecting, it’s far safer to not allow it.

Now, you’d get what you want if they added options to sort/hide mounts you don’t want to use.

I personally just choose a few flying/ground mounts and drag them on one of my bars. I don’t go through the list every time I want to mount.

Nah no way, There must be an option like pets To Stay SAFE or Any other Item deletion
You gotta type exactly “Release” then it get released, and after that, you’re the only one responsible.

Look, assuming you’re not just trolling, every time you try to make something idiot proof, the world will provide you a better idiot. Having a means to permanently delete mounts from your account is a bad idea.

It’s more realistic to implement hiding options. There’s likely add-ons that do this already.

I’m also not sure why an “ugly” mount being in your collection would bother you. You don’t have to stare at them.

I’m almost to 500, my problem is I know the mount I’m looking for and I know the expansion it’s in, but I don’t remember the name.

Sounds like a job for an add-on?

(i don’t write/use add-ons myself, but perhaps there’s already something out there that adds more filtering options to collection management?)

The “Mount Journal Enhanced” addon may be a suitable workaround. You can filter out any mounts you don’t want listed.

I mean That really doesnt matter If you’re :

  • Planning to collect ONLY Rare mounts (Personal goals)
    Like:
  • Only Rare mounts collection
  • Only drakes collection (If you’re a fan)
  • Only ROCKETS collection etc…

So I guess the answer to your question is fairly straightforward: No

Nor would anyone really support this ahead of the thousand and one other things on players wish lists for Warcraft.

You’ll have to make due with an addon.

Also, just out of curiosity, did you literally setup and pay for an entirely new account just to post this? You have essentially zero achievements, no mounts, and an Overwatch promo pet. How are you even posting here unless you’re paying for that account one way or another?

  • I dont like stalkers or creeps that just checks all my alts, because that is out of their business
    I do like privacy, so having a different account is better than letting someone stalk on you or track your alts for whatever weird reason.
  • and yes spending 13$ a month is worth for privacy since blizzard cannot protect (alts easily tracked throu pet collection - achievements… etc but that’s not why i made this post)
