Can we reduce boomy pressure and instead increase the survivability?

Sorry English isnt my first language. i really hate this design and what it becomes when you play with either a dh or sub/outlaw stunbot

I think everyone wants this change to happen. I think it’s very silly that I can wrath twice and do more damage than chaos bolts, but that I also die to passive pve damage when my healer is freecasting vs most comps.

Indeed, there has been a massive willful forgetting of class and spec archetypes, and principles like roles and armor types. These have been blurred through gradual changes, mostly in SL and DF.

Balance Druid should be passively more durable than Mage because it doesn’t have an immunity. But neither should it be as a tanky mortar as a Warlock, because it has more mobility. Like you say, everyone wants the current balancing to change – both the Druids who want to get more casts off, and PvP’ers in general who remember a time with more calculated crowd control chains (so less M+ Micro-CC) and more casted damage and less mobility. For this to happen, though, the core issues need to be addressed. I just find it unfortunate that, for example, people cried about dying in 3 seconds and instead of looking at pseudo-burst, the balancing team listened to the misguided outcry and nerfed CC without considering the consequences. We don’t want PvP to feel like PvE. We just want it to feel more like it used to. It just needs slightly more attention, SEPARATE and not JUST eating the crumbs of Mythic raid and dungeon design and tuning. Do we actually have dedicated PvP and Class/Spec Devs atm?

I think boomkins need ironfeather armor back and the ability to cast hots in boomkin form to help with healing.

They would first need to buff or give them HoTs that actually move healthbars, like old Cenarion Ward.

Rejuvenation literally isn’t worth a GCD, even if it were castable in boomkin form. The only reason we ever used to press it was to allow usage of Swiftmend, which has now been removed. By itself it ticks for like 35k, on health pools of 7-8m.

I think the talent tree rework is a HUGE help for QoL, but doesn’t make up for the 1s off clone (or 2s when its bugged).

True, but I also think you could change forestwalk to apply to rejuv so it amps healing received instead of it just being the regrowth buff.

I love forest walk so much (sucker for speed) but I agree it would be nice if it had a healing bonus across the board.

I prefer passive bonuses or ability conjunctions, because Druid kits are already rather GCD inefficient by modern standards.

nah, dont want boomy to be like DF again where it’s immortal with best cc in game, its fine if it does big dmg game needs to be less damp.

Starfall stacks is what i see as a big problem. It’s usually a deciding factor in most BGs and i can imagine in arena having your entire team getting hit for 500k passively might be a problem.

I already have 2 weave after karma nerf and dotw nerf can’t actually stay in perma anymore.

Did you see that Cyclone is being nerfed to 5s?
