You have to be kidding us right now. THIS is what was postponed for polishing? THIS?? Oh, Golly geeze, where to start.
First and foremost, at first glance, the color palette is atrocious. If they were going for gold, they failed swimmingly, because that is the most garish, disgusting yellow that has ever touched a needle. It matches absolutely nothing.
But horrendous color choices aside, the modeling is downright lazy. There’s hardly anything new at all, and it’s jam packed with so many cut corners, it might as well be the lunchroom trashcan of a cafeteria. Is anyone else seeing the texturing on this thing? The resolution is horrible. Like, worse than two expansions ago horrible. Who did they assign this to?
AND THE SHOULDERS. Who designed those, and by designed I mean retextured from a wotlk model because there is nothing new or inventive there. Why not take a page from the book of literally any official art and, OH I DON’T KNOW, make the pauldrons the extension of a cape? Hmmm? HMMM?
Worst of all, they couldn’t even get their poorly colored, poorly modeled, poorly textured armor set to match…I’m just…I’m done.
I honestly cringed when I saw it. It’s really, really bad. The colors just look out of place. It makes them look like they’re from Vegas not an old English themed place. Very disappointed in it. Will not transmog.
They literally took the Nobleman’s Outfit already in the game, threw some random shoulders you get while leveling up, sprayed some gold and called it a day. Didn’t even bother adding 3d assets.
You can make tmogs with vanilla gear look better than this.
I just saw it, and was expecting something so much different…they give you top hats/long coats, but the colors hurt my eyes. This makes me sad, there was so much more potential.
Yeah, nope. The outfit is an eyesore and a half. It’s gaudy, uninspired, and just genuinely unappealing to look at. Considering they designed this in tandem with the goblin heritage armor (which honestly looks charming), it’s a shock to see that it’s the worgen set that looks like it’s been dipped in gold. Oh yeah, and those stupid little top hats very clearly clip with worgen ears in the screenshot from the dev update - ridiculous.
All of my main characters are worgen and I do not anticipate myself using a single piece from this set if it is not given a thorough revision.
Definitely don’t plan to spend time getting this.

Just saying, I could really go for some of those Warhammer fantasy vibes this thing gives off.
I had high hopes that they were being delayed for the sake of perfecting the armor sets. The fact that the armor clips on the only two models it was made for is just embarrassing.
Shoulders definitely hidden. That kinda helps.
I am very disappointed in the Worgen heritage armor. I was hoping for something like Genn Greymane’s attire both in WoW and HotS, but instead, we got a vomit of gold that looks like a copy/paste from an existing set.
The color’s are my biggest issue with the set. Gold just does not fit Gilnean designs. I would have expected browns and greys, perhaps some brass.
It’s pretty hideous, but hopefully it’s like the Kul’Tiran set and that’s not the finalized version. Kinda laughable that it got delayed too.

They could not be more blatantly obvious about lazy amateur design, both model “update” and HA. Why do they even bother?

Look like those crappy failures of a set, like the green and blue ones, done just out of spite, to fill a quota of armor sets.
It goes in line with how much they care about Alliance… Another failure to the list.
I would just like to have some changes made.

Couldn’t agree more. I am hoping that it is a preliminary rendering and they are still working on it.
It seems a waste to design an entire city and culture based off of vampire and werewolf monster movies of 80 years ago and then make something so bright and clingy.
Why is the worgen heritage set using the colors of Stormwind? I thought that they are Gilneans. Did the worgen xurse soread to Stormwind? Gilneas uses dark brown, black, copper as its colors. Why doesnt their heritage reflect the colors of their nation? The other heritage sets do. This set has just been a big disappointment. And dont get me started on the quest line.
This is by far the ugliest and laziest heritage set they’ve done.
It’s disgusting and I can’t see anyone having the ability to defend this mess.
I don’t know what to think, have they completely lost touch with the community? The colors are straight out of vanilla, after the great designs coming from BFA - we got this???
I just imagine at the meeting table with all the great options submitted, the intern walked up and hand them this, and the program manager through everything else away and said, “That’s AWESOME”
