I really don’t see a reason to have such a high cost for a second trinket from bfd, I played ret on my pally all of phase 1 SoD but now i need to help my guild out so i leveled my paladin and i’m gonna help my guild out by healing. But while playing i didn’t really think that i would ever heal but now with all they added for hpal and how well they are doing compaired to p1 i really regret having to choose between ap or healing. Like i get it, But with the ever changing and trying (discovering) new things comes different specs but i am now shafted out of my bis healing trinket inless i wanna shove my alt 75 gold. I’m not saying to completely remove it but even like a 10 or 25 gold swap for it would be alot more respectable. At the end of the day if Season of Discovery is all about testing new things and finding what you like, i just don’t see how the 75g trinket is sitting there considering respecc is limited and made so cheap that they realize that people will be respeccing and trying new things. Even in gdkps in p1 trinkets went for half that most of the time. I would love to see this changed but it probaly wont.

They should just remove the ability to swap trinkets.
It should be free by obtaining the same quest item again. Same for Gnomer necklace. If they’re going to add a gold swap option it should be no more than 5g. This is SoD, not ERA. They only made it 75g bc 90% of the community buys gold.

Just remove it entirely. There’s no reason whatsoever to cater to people with this silly vendor in Tanaris that gives the opportunity to swap trinkets. This isn’t Retail. It’s an RPG… make choices meaningful. Make choices matter.

Yeah, adding a vendor was kind of lazy, and caters to an angry, complainy crowd that, if anything, is the type of people that I wish weren’t really part of this community, personally. But they are, and that seems to be what the devs actively want from the community, so I guess we have a vendor.
If the 75g is a lot to swing though, then I don’t think it matters if you switch trinkets or not.

Quest item choices have always had consequences though. While I agree 75g is a lot, I don’t think you should be able to freely swap it. Maybe 5g for the first swap and then a steeper price after that. Choices have to have consequences, or they have no meaning.
75g for a respec with how drastic balance changes were between p1 and p2, is excessive.
I intended on playing feral from 1-60 but with how comically bad feral runes and play felt in p2, Im just going to sit balance for the rest of this game’s life, at least I know it won’t get a pointless set of ruins that further muddy an already awful rotation…
I have the gold to afford the swap, but havent pulled the trigger on it out of principle. The item either shouldn’t be swappable at all, or have a reduced gold cost, its current implimentation is a bit offensive. I already got robbed with blizzard increasing and then decreasing mount cost.
