Can we please not change stats on PvP gear with the catalyst?

Don’t do me like that. :dracthyr_cry_animated:

For a decade we had tier sets for pvp only that mostly didn’t change and were always useful

Runic power generation while slowed,

Disarm duration reduction for warrior eyc.

One less monkey trying to balance

And resilience made the gear better than pve 90% of the time

Then WoD delivered the idea of scaling and we finally abandoned pve gear

if we arnt getting the raid appearances the stats shouldn’t change. i know some people are incapable of doing this, but if you put yourself in a newer players shoes it’s clear some of the convulsion should be cleaned up. stats not changing could be one of the many ways to clean it up.

personally i like that they change because i like just using my pvp gear to dip my toes into pve, but it’s not all about me.

I get what you’re saying. I just don’t see the tier as meaningful anyway though. Unless they meaningfully change the playstyle of the spec what’s the point really besides raising your overall output and therefore, rather unnecessary because stats do the same thing.
Generally, it feels like damage profile redistribution which could just be done under the hood and then you could avoid tunneling people into specs in with tier sets.

Yeah, dedicated pvp bonuses would be sicko but the issue is that they want some amount of cross-compatibility so keys, raids and pvp give the same gear.

Bring back Conquest only gearing.

Pace it to be on par with how we can pull 6 epics out of a hat week 1, and the catchup is literally just filling the bar.

You came to season late? Great. Just fill up the bar.

ONE SOURCE of gearing.

Literally who could complain?

Hey, that’s this season.

I can buy 2 things with 1600 conquest

Tell me how I can get 6 epics.

Write the guide,

Show us how simple it is.

Literally just earn conquest and you’ll be full gear long before it even matters. :dracthyr_blob_dance_animated: War mode stuff optional.

We’ll all be full conquest eventually.

Also gear would never be the deciding factor between us.

Bloody token stuff to supplement gearing while in queue isn’t convoluted.

This is an mmo with pvp.

Not a pvp game with an mmo minigame.

Gearing is a big component of it, and has systems you have to engage with.

At the bare minimum, youll have to buy mats off the AH and put in a crafting order.

Thats it. The rest is conquest/bloodytokens/honor

You described 1 other of the 5 sources of gearing

Tell us where the quest is to get the bloody tokens
Tell us the bloody token cap
Tell us where the vendor for bloody tokens is
Explain difference b/t its ILvL from other epics.
Tell us if it can be converted to tier

Next to the pvp vendors with all the other pvp quests

Idk idc doesn’t matter

Near the rest of the pvp vendors

Ye

Also you can just skip this gear because it only matters early-mid season which doesn’t matter for pushing. Like, you can afk for 2 months, come back, know none of this and be 100% bis in 2 days of play which is what I’ll often do.

Give me coordinates

It does to me and everyone else, we want gear

What coordinates?

Is this before or after scaling?

Is it a lower ilvl than conquest purchases?

So don’t play the game to worry about its convoluted gear, gotcha.

There’s your answer, and what people are doing. Not PvP’ing

itt: people who dedicate every waking moment of their lives to this game cant understand newer and returning players frustration with the systems they’ve engaged with for years.

I mean most of my posts are attempting to explain things to people with less experience how they should go about playing when it’s just them wanting empathy for their struggles. :dracthyr_a1: The system is good and staying so need to stop entertaining the notion that it could be removed.

yah bro you really seem understand how those players interact with the game. lmfao.

Gearing has never been easier.

The vendors are all next to each other. So are the quests.

The crafting you can ignore, but youll have to buy mats. Thats it.

Sorry fellas, but youre just looking for a pvp game, not pvp in an mmo.

Its pretty basic.

I do, it’s just that they’re usually wrong. :dracthyr_love_animated: Thus my explanations as to what they should do.
