Can Dracthyr please have the option to appear in Visage form on the character select screen or the form they are logged out in? Sorry but they just look off and silly. Doesn’t matter the background or other character’s I pair them with. They just don’t look good IMO, and I would rather see them in their Visage form that I use in game anyway.
The Visage forms and customization are a WIN! Not so much the case with their Dragon forms.
Pretty much why I tried one, then deleted it.
Visage form should be the default look, with Dracthyr form being a class feature like Boomkin.
I don’t see anyone complaining that Boomkin isn’t rigged for armor.
Then why did you create one, instead of an elf?
I think they’re working on that. They mentioned it in one of the interviews about the expansion. Don’t know when it’ll come around but it’s on the radar.
Perhaps because the visage is dramatically more customizable than an elf. Which says a more about the state of male blood elf customization than anything.
With the dracthyr visage it’s easy to make one that looks very distinct and personalized. Meanwhile all elves end up looking samey.
The option would be cool, but their visage form is just a blood elf male and human female with a few additional customizations. You could have made either of those.
If the Evoker class is that enjoyable or you just want to roleplay some sort of dragon-magic character then you may be SoL for some time. I personally like both forms, my only gripe being Dracthyr should have been larger in size, like Daenei and Tauren.

Blizzard needs to give more classes access to glide and give base races more customization options so they are less appealing.
Then youre just an elf with extra rainbow options.
So give me an elf with those rainbow options and I’ll pick them over the lizard.

Priest having access to something that can delay spell casts is also nice, ngl. And glide, since the class is very immobile.
If I remember correctly, in a recent interview they said this is being worked on.

the Slender Lizards with Wings look fine enough.
the problem is there is not a slowly growing full armor set that works for them with each raid tier.
they dont need to have all gear options but there is no reason they couldn’t slowly add more options in the barber shop. ~4 sets an expansion to manually rig wouldnt take but a moment to set up, especially if they have pre determined anchor points.
as far as Visages go, they should add the other races as options so all the combinations for player customization exist.
optionally, players characters on screen should, (and i think they were working on it) be able to be chosen as either form on the login screen.
and to argue a point, even if we could choose the Visage option for the login screen, i’d have them left as Dracthyr form, because thats the whole point in choosing that race option for my characters.
the game is over saturated with elves, dont need that bleeding over into my login screen.
I guess I can see why in that some folks want a handsome monster boy or cute monster girl and not a full blown scaly.
But they aren’t. They look like they have a skin disorder.
Can we stop picking a race to play, but then not wanting to play that race. But still continue to play it.
I mean it’s WoW, you aren’t going to get good looking stuff anyway.
