I’m tired of getting one shooted in pvp by geared players.
We need pvp scaling for random BG, Open world PvP. I don’t care about rated at all, but at least for random stuff.
Sick and tired of geared horde hunters who, ofc every single of them changed to ventyr after 9.1, walks pass you killing you with Kill command, or his pets just maul you to death without hunter giving effort at all.
pvp scaling worked pretty well, it just had drawbacks, Rextroy’s exploit could have been handled on the small scale. IMO its better to have everyone scaled to the same ilvl than trying to do a ton of math to differentiate power and damage differences between all players in combat.
I agree with the above poster. Giving everyone the same stats in pvp regardless of their gear is much easier math than trying to figure out how much damage player of stats XYZ will do to player of stats ABC.
If you remember how things worked in BfA, things were a bit wonky. Legion did pretty good, but it would be nicer if we could have chosen our secondary distibution.
Exactly…its fun playing against skilled players. Its not fun to play against geared players who was carried to good gear, or even a high rated geared players who can walk over you simply cause he doesn’t look trough window in his room
Keep your comments to appropriate group with such statement. bug off please , get a life
we’ve got yet another thread where someone is complaining about how gear matters in pvp after all the community complaints in legion that gear didn’t matter in pvp…
Can you post the link you seem to think you have to show us that the same person was complaining about both?
One possible solution would be templates with a stat budget that players could use to customize their gear. And other is, of course, the 2 tier honor/conquest system as in wod.
maybe not the same person, but for every thread complaining about pvp gear now, there was 1 complaining about how gear didn’t matter in PvP back in legion.
I think WoD was about as close to perfect as they’ve ever gotten with pvp gearing. And in typical Blizzard fashion, anytime they have a good thing going, they choose to dumpster it and try reinventing the wheel.
