Listen people who like PL have serious well founded trust issues with ML.
- Dismissing their claims does not help your cause.
- Preaching the ML bible does not help your cause.
- Generally insulting them does not help your cause.
You need to realize you need their support to get ML back. And to get their support you need to sure up the system so that it is less subject to corruption.

It already was in Legion. Don’t like Masterloot, then you can hit up the Group Finder. If there’s a guild that you feel is abusing Masterloot then just leave. I don’t know how this is a problem for people to do.

If the loot system is allowing for the best players to make the most progression than how is it not working?
Almost all of these people (I say almost to account for statistical outliers only) would not be effected by when myself and Jalen are asking for

The problem with PL is it just feels like poop. I cant give away something that my mate is frothing over? that sucks so much! I want to help my friends but cant.
I’m open to anything putting ML on the table again that has been suggested minus the one Laura is putting forward. I cannot support a loot system based on fear.
Spoken like someone who doesn’t know what he’s talking about. Want an example? Mythic mistress. Kill her eels too fast and you will die… Repeatedly… That means only a select few players get to AoE at specific moments. Repeatedly… I was a frost mage for that fight, but despite the numerous points that require AoE… most of the DPS were required to completely ignore the eels and instead ST the boss. Because if they didn’t… the group would wipe.
Guess who parsed high on that fight and guess who didn’t? That’s right… The two elemental shamans parsed high (as their job was to kill the eels at exactly the right moment) and the rest of us didn’t.
Sorry, but real mythic players know when parses don’t mean anything. Anyone can perform a DPS rotation. Not everyone knows how to utilize effective DPS to defeat a boss.
Want another example? M Za’qul. I’ll never parse on that fight. Why? Because I’m not a tool who blows my CDs on the pull as there’s quite literally no point. Better that our melee stack their inkpods higher than we get to the DPS halt point 10-15 seconds faster necessitating us to hold DPS and wait even longer. Other players? DO pop their CDs on the pull and screw over their raids in the process. OR they have the DPS available to perform the P1 burn. If your raid doesn’t have the DPS available to do that… you’re not out parsing those other teams.
Long story short… It’s back to ML vs PL when it comes to parses. Do you prioritize your teams progression, or your personal orange numbers.
Don’t like that system. If you want my support and those like me. Then build it better.
Otherwise you can talk about team spirit until you are blue in the face. I’m not signing on without insurance.

I would give full support if I saw top mythic guilds straight lose the progression race based on the loot system but that hasn’t been the case.
All the top guilds have adapted fine to the change and are still raiding and progressing at the level they were before master loot was removed.
Laura. We’ve stated trust issues repeatedly in this thread and in others. We get it! We KNOW there are problems with ML. We KNOW that you can be abused by it. I don’t begrudge anyone to prefer PL because of those issues.
What we’re saying… is that we would like the choice for OURSELVES to choose ML.
Hence: Don’t like ML? Ok. Don’t use it.
Sort’ve like: Don’t like LFR? Ok. Don’t use it.
And: Don’t like flying? Ok. Don’t use it.
Because you don’t trust whatever guild you’re running with. Which again is not a problem other people should have to deal with or suffer.
Giving me a Nuanced example of one parse doesn’t prove a damn thing literally on over 95% of the flights you’re not going to be having a gray parts and less you died or your bad.
That’s funny, because you used 1 single parse as an ad hominem attack on Jalen. And used it to insinuate an ulterior motive.

And I responded with 2 (I can get more if you want) bosses that are going to significantly effect your parse.
Again. If you don’t know how to push mythic… That’s fine. But stop acting like you can utilize a single parse with a throwaway insult. It’s silly, and it makes you look like you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Yup. All of this. Don’t mind Kaerodan. He’s a Heroic player who’s only concerned about parsing which is awkward for reasons I’m not going to get into. The fight he’s trying to trash talk on is also another fight where even if I killed multiple times I’d never parse on because of the death wall mechanic. Where I have to sit and babysit one of the 4 death walls closing in and do my best to delay the adds as much as possible.
Coven is an Aff Lock fight. Anyone who actually did Mythic would know that.
