Can we please get leveling queue?

Right now, leveling through dungeons is one of, if not the most, popular methods for level pre- and post- level 50. Yet, because of a ton of bizarre restrictions, you are always restricted to only a small subset of dungeons at any given level. This is particularly brutal during the level 50-60 set, where you are restricted to only 4 dungeons.

Can we please just get a leveling roulette that draws from the entire dungeon pool? It could be separate from the shadowlands dungeon queue. This would make leveling so much more fun.

Actually there are eight dungeons. The last four are held back due to ilevel restrictions. Blizz needs to just remove those restrictions since we are all now in the new patch.

Or stop looking in the lfg dungeons and make your own LFG post in the pre-mades section. I often find old content I’m looking to run in there or make my own listing and it fills reasonably fast. It’s not a a cure-all I admit but it’s an option.

And it would be just like another popular game!

There’s no shame in bogarting the good ideas. Both ways! Other games sure have borrowed from WoW… and WoW was designed with EQ in mind: what did the players love/hate about that game, etc.

This is needed. Leveling is not fun. Plague or Necrotic, Necrotic or plague…eternally in the early to mid parts. Then around 57/58 ish…its then TS spam.

Worst is the non skippers for plague. The gear if it drops is trash for normal. I pray to what ever powers will listen we do a hard right on boss 1 and the drive right down the middle to clear detection radii on boss 2. 2 bosses in and out? Yes please.

There is literally zero reason to do this, especially with scaling being so prominent.

That would be a nice start, for sure. I was kind of surprised this didn’t change with the new patch.

But still, because the leveling experience 1-50 is so segregated due to chromie time, adding a larger dungeon pool queue, a la the “leveling roulette” another game has, would be a great way to offer a new experience for levelers. Its such an easy change that would add entirely new dynamic to leveling and improve the experience of queueing for dungeons pre level 60.

I mean, it would 1) improve queueing issues for chromie time levelers, 2) better utilize many of the under utilized dungeons in the game, 3) offer a fun new way to collect transmogs, 4) improve the level 50-60 experience which always regressed into running Mists repeatedly, and 5) increase the overall diversity in in-game activities offered, particularly when it can be unnecessarily complicated and time consuming trying to go back to experience older dungeons in a scaled group.

Did they ever fix the beginning mechanic issue with BFA dungeons where pools of death can’t be stopped due to players not having access to interrupts until they hit their 20s? I finally just switched over to classic dungeons but new players can’t do that. I’m all about learning mechanics but a new player who keeps dying to something he can’t stop will eventually quit in frustration.

I don’t think they’ve fixed any of these idiosyncrasies associated with the level squish yet. I get the idea of having new players play the more recent dungeons because they are nicer looking and what not, but playing freehold on a new low level character can’t be a good experience.

You are correct. This level 10 twink is op due to how the level scaling/squish work. It needs to be fixed, and I am saying that while having the time of my life doing so.
