Can we please get auto flight in draenor?

I mean seriously, its 2 expansions ago, therefore considered legacy content. We can solo mythic raids on it already. At the very least please remove the rep requirement, it makes no sense to grind rep from 2 expansions ago.

it is kinda stupid

Yeah, and we may as well get all the Mage Tower appearances automatically unlocked when the next expansion comes out too.

And PvP armour that we didn’t achieve while current.

And so on…

Seems fair.

That seems like a very odd comparison. Challenge appearances and flying aren’t on the level.

Also: with a mount attached to that unlock, I don’t see them taking Pathfinder out. They’re obsessed with Pathfinder.

Having ground it out not even a few weeks ago…

Yes please! Half my friends are miserable every time they have to step foot into Draenor. Being able to fly them around helps somewhat, but when they want to do things on their own, they’re SOL.

And having recently done the content, it’s not challenging in the slightest. Not anymore. All it took on my part was an investment of time - and some patience.

i think the fair compromise is to lower the requirements for legacy content pathfinder to:

  • explore the zones
  • complete zone stories

Yeah, I guess flying and the things I mentioned aren’t all earned through effort.
It’s pretty straightforward.

There’s a huge difference between the effort we put into challenge modes and just questing normally.

Speak for yourself.

The grind/effort to get flying is just as valid an undertaking as the grind/effort to get anything else.

This argument opens up a can of worms, though…

I can get transmogs now that would have taken people weeks, if not months in previous expansions.

That sounds wonderful, 100% agreed

I still want a level 1 heirloom flying mount. It’s the next logical step after the bike.

It does open up a can of worms, I get that.

It’s a tough discussion to have because there are valid points on both sides of the argument.

IMO they should just let people purchase flying for 5-10k gold on a per-character basis in legacy content. Unlocking Pathfinder still gives you account wide flying plus whatever mounts and bonuses are tied to it.

thats also acceptable.

Not that I do not think it is a tad stupid to keep it in, but I think it is more of a point being made by Developers.

Kind of like someone saying “hey guys it’s been 2 years come on” and the Developers train of thought is, “well, I guess it will be another 8 years since we still have players thinking they can ignore it and we will give in”.

Yes. It doesn’t really incentivise content if you know it’s just going to be given to you, without any effort, further down the track.

I very much don’t feel like questing around was anywhere near the time and effort and stress I put into the healer mage tower challenge.

And I’m pretty sure my friends would take offense at equating some quests and a rep grind to all of their runs to work through the Mists challenge mode dungeons.

I understand the point you’re making, I just feel the comparisons are way off.
