It’s been over two weeks since the prepatch broke touch screen clicks. This makes the game mostly unplayable for deck pc users. We had one reply from a customer service mod acknowledging the problem that day and zero updates since then. Again, this is a game-breaking bug for us.
At this point we arent even asking when it will be fixed; we want to know if its something that will ever be fixed.
I had just paid for a year sub and the premium version of the expansion and i cant even play the game on the only device i play it on. I personally want to know if it will ever be fixed so i can at least request a refund for my almost $300 in purchases that i wont be able to use (which I’m sure will get denied).
Touch screen isn’t technically a supported input by WoW. Games like Hearthstone are and have them listed as a requirement for input (along with keyboard and mouse options). WoW only lists Keyboard and Mouse as a supported input device.
The fact that the game ran on Steam deck or Rog Ally and the like is a happy coincidence but because it wasn’t technically supported it could (and obviously did) break at any time.
The developers are aware of the problem, that’s the best you can hope for right now unfortunately.
Huh? I apologize if you thought I stole something from you but I honestly did not. I have not replied nor read most of the responses in that particular thread.
Edit: it looks like you’ve edited your post to be less inflammatory/accusatory, thank for that. Coincidences do happen, I did not intentionally steal your phrasing and am sorry you think I would do so. I try very hard to be helpful on the forums and give accurate info when I can.
