like, ive been running mythic keys and gotten nothing, no upgrade, no nothing, i understand we have great vault (despite it being garbage compared to the old system) but please for the love of god guarantee us something when we run besides a pitiful amount of anima (35 anima…really, i can get 105 for running up and doing a 2 minute world quest), its really just a slap in the face to put in 35 - 60 minutes of my day running this stressful content where a single mistake can screw the timer entirely, this isn’t fun or enjoyable
EDIT: im not saying just add more gear, even just a respectable amount of anima would be appreciated, 35 anima is not worth a mythic key

Also, the great vault is bad luck protection. 100% chance for a piece of loot for doing 1 M+

??? If you’re referring to the many random currencies and items you got that were not “gear” then sure we can count that. But you only got one piece of gear that was entirely randomized and some people would get the same item weeks in a row. But this new system let’s you choose gear. It couldn’t get better than that. You’re just on a bad streak. Sorry.

i personally remember getting like 4 robes out of one weekly chest back in legion, and these “bad streaks” are why i stop paying my sub (although still dont know why we still have a sub) what’s the point of putting in effort if your not going to get something out of it?

RNG hasn’t changed since the release of the game. That’s how loot drops work in any content farming game. It’s just been changed and modified to have different things that either help you get what you want, or work towards something you want. Hell, we have Legendaries that we can craft however we want for the most part. You’re not meant to get a perfect or even a good upgrade every single time you do something.
I’ll give EVERYTHING back, the vault, and legendaries, to have more loot dropping from content again.

There is nothing to fix. Its working as intended.
You just want more reward for less effort, it seems.
You aren’t alone.
But what will you do once you are fully geared?
This is the ultimate issue with end game rewards in Shadowlands.
Its not that there is too little or too much loot.
Its that there is nothing to earn once you have it all.
Everyone acted like Titanforging and AP were such a blight, but I think its clear its removal and the restructure of rewards is not what is best for this game moving forward.
Until they realize this, remember that its only 1 less item per content than in BFA.
Run with friends and trade loot amongst each other to help fill the gaps as you progress.

you mean the garbage legendaries that force me to change my playstyle entirely on my hunter to be relevant, glad to know this steaming pile of crap is supposed to be helping, and no making my class more complicated, and again, even a respectable amount of anima would be fine, 35 is just a slap in the face
No, we want similar loot for the same effort. They literally reduced loot per effort to below pre TF values.

Correct, because if they didn’t, everyone would be geared in 2 weeks and there would be no reason to continue doing that content for these people.
The lesson here is be careful what you wish for! Everyone went on and on about titanforging and now we see the results.

Fix implies there’s something wrong. RNG is RNG, just like it’s always been. Working as intended.
you’d rather go back to getting the same pair of boots 5 times in a row?
the great vault is the one thing that is objectively a pure upgrade from previous systems.
you can still do your one high key a week for your great vault reward, but now you can unlock options to choose from instead of just praying you don’t get your 5th pair of matching pants.

We weren’t geared in 2 weeks on 1 loot per 5 people in raid, we weren’t geared in 2 weeks before TF/WF, that’s a falsity.
