Can we please be allowed to mog any weapon type

To any other weapon type my classs can currently use?

For example, on my monk I like to use Handwraps of Serenity. For those who don’t know, these are fist weapons you can get on the Peak of Serenity (pre-Legion invasion) that are invisible, so it allows you to fight barehanded.

But my monk keeps getting staves. I don’t want staves. I want to keep my barehanded unequipped appearance. I would happily use a staff if I could mog it to the handwraps of serenity.

I think this should go for any class. I think whatever weapon I have should be moggable to whatever weapon my class can use.

Though I think there are some reasonable restrictions. Like maybe ranged weapons can’t be mogged to melee weapons. it’d be a bit ridiculous for a BM hunter to mog a crossbow to a staff and then fire arrows from a staff or a polearm. But any melee to any melee or any ranged to any ranged should be fine.

Not really sure where wands would fall since they’re just effectively stat sticks now. Can’t think of the last time I actually fired a wand, probably not since Cata or maybe even before then.

Agree 100%. I always craft a staff every season so I don’t get stuck with some sickly 1H + offhand combo  I am not afraid to use a worse staff for the mog over the objectively better other combination lol

Idk be kinda weird for a hunter to be shooting bullets with a staff

This but with 1h / oh.
Also let us hide off-hand frills.

See if we mog the slot now, not the weapon, it makes sense that i can mog my main hand weapon to any main hand weapon i am capable of using.

Same for offhand weapons.

So in short: blizzard can i finally mog sword and bord for my fury warrior?!?!? Its not Glad stance but ill take what i can get!

i disagree 100%

Can we please get the option to mog 1h weapons at our side or on our back?

Can we also please get an option for smaller weapon size? Just a toggle button. Normal or smaller.

That’s all I’m asking.

When the warbank came out, there was a way to transfer heirloom gear with appearances between characters. I put two-handed sword on staff and gave it to my priest and warlock so they have a big sword on their back while casting. I also gave a demon hunter dual wield flails which looked awesome swinging those around.

They have since fixed this.
