Can we play an Evil faction?

Horde has kinda lost its rizz these days.

Plus its pretty much a dead faction from a lore perspective anyway, despite it being the writers decision to hijack the faction whenever a lore character decides to play the role of megalomaniac.

I know dude. This is the most skibidi Ohio writing of all time.

I mean, Horde is the evil faction. From WC3 up till the end of Legion you could have argued otherwise, but BFA pretty well hammered home that the Horde are in fact still the bad guys.

Since end of BfA Horde is budget Alliance.

Even back in Cata you have some kinda Horde are the badass bullies ‘vibe’ that just feels cool to be.

Is it likely to go back? No chance. They have to either go the ‘we’re enemies but friends for the final expansion boss’ or continue with what we have. I guess they could kinda do the raids like they did for Dazaralor but it’s not work for them.

There are no bad factions (or races apparently) there are only bad leaders.

Much like there are no bad writers only bad CEOs and upper management.

The story has turned into the storyteller’s copium.

You can in fact play an evil faction. It’s called the Alliance.

Look those were just Panadaren volunteers we used to build our war camps.

There’s a gallywix tabard and coins in Undermined along with the other cartel reputation items, not too sure if it’s possible you can help him. :pick::robot:

I actually forgot about that one. I was more talking about older actions, like those by Garithos.

How many innocent critters have you all so non-nonchalantly slaughtered?

Yeah I thought so.

/points at you

It would be interesting to see the results if Blizzard sent out a survey asking players what expansion(s) they enjoyed most lore/writing wise. I have such a hard time imagining it’s the current writing, but I could be completely wrong too.

I suspect how BfA forced the horde story against itself, there should’ve been a lesson learned. I would hope. :robot::sweat_drops:

Would be neat to see a survey but hope they understand the details like not forcing several characters into an inconsistent path. :robot::sweat_drops:

I guess it’d be cool to play for the dark side for one expansion/season. Like for example xalatath does something extraordinary in the end of next patch campaign and we all go into their realm (void) and turn into acolytes of the void lords to play this conflict from their perspective. I’d like to be a part of something like this

At this point we should just be one big ridiculous family. And the evil faction of robot clowns from the shadowy-er lands can be our enemies

The faction war could have been maintained but bad writing and writer self inserts and Waifus ruined it.

Seriously what global threat is left? Xalataths feet?

Horde being the evil faction always went down the same path.

Horde leader go mad/bad Horde attacks alliance.

Alliance wins every single battle after until horde leader dead/deposed.

Of course the alliance likes this.

As a horde player, gets old fast.

Evil can’t win and the status quo has to maintained by the end of the expansion
