Pet classes are so toxic in PvP and I never say this about any class. BM hunters and demo should never be viable on the same degree as aug.

Destro and crap even affliction is fine. You have 2 lock specs to choose from you can do with not having demo viable.

The totems? No. The wolves? Yes if we’re consider that they are affected by the orc racial. Their purpose is to buff abilities not do actual damage themselves. This is completely different compared to BM hunter and demo locks who’s purpose is to give you have an aneurysm.

Do you think other casters enjoy grounding, 12 sec shears, knockbacks and stuns to interrupt casts?

Off meta specs always seem to be great against demo no matter how good demo is.

If enh is below s tier it’ll still feel s tier vs demo
If outlaw is below s tier it feels insane vs demo
If fire is below s tier it feels insane vs demo
If survival is below s tier it’s s tier vs demo.

You’re not wrong. Going to be honest with you, there are times where I didn’t let a lock cast for like 30 seconds. That’s why they gave you precog.

Every class has counters. The main issue here is that locks damage come from pets which is inherently bad for the game.

that buffs dark pact 50% for demo/aff

I only played hellcaller the last 2 seasons because soul harvest is cringe and once tier set is gone we can finally play rampant afflictions again

but this talent is skewing aff/demo and should prob be nerfed. 50% stronger darkpact is just too insane in shuffle to not play

Thanks for sharing that. Demo does feel incredibly tanking. Tbh I actually like destro more and it’s probably one of the healthier casters in the game because it requires cast to get their kill pressure out. Demo is literally just pets and that’s what most people don’t like about it.

Why is it bad for the game? That is what Demo locks and BM do. It is literally a glorified dot spec that does ST dmg.

I’m surprised you are not annoyed by BM who can put out significantly more single target dmg, burst dmg than demo locks. Atleast with demo locks, u have tools to control the demons or even better mess up their one and only ramp every 1 minute, compared to BM dmg which is unstoppable.

FYI it has a pvp modifier, it is not 50% stronger dark pact. It is around 30% stronger.

And once dampening hits, dark pact sucks with or without this modifier.

I am annoyed with BM tho.

Dots you can dispel. Can’t dispel pets. Can’t even kill them anymore if we’re talking about hunter pets after they’ve been buffed a ton. You could also used to kick rez pet on hunters.
