Kind of wild you want us to put spells on our bars, but yet cover 90% of the screen. I get if I was using the default UI I probably wouldnt have this issue… but I am not.
Why is it not part of the edit UI panel?

Everything is huge and bloated. Not just the spellbook, but the talents, and the menu itself.
All the other windows seem to be the same size, the talent/spellbook tab and options menu however are now visible from space
any way to reduce it back to how it was before?
The only way I can see this being fixed is either internally, or once MoveAnything is updated
The new spellbook is bad in every way and a change nobody asked for.
Windows 8 vibes all over again.
There is literally one button to make it smaller and you receive a tip about it when you open it.
It’s still too big, not movable and poorly organized.
It goes from covering 95% of the screen to 75% of the screen. As someone who is somewhat visually impaired, I hope to God they don’t use me as an excuse for this nonsense.
Still way too huge.
Guess we’re gonna have to wait for someone to make an add-on to fix it.
Not exactly the best solution, but, Moveany allows you to scale and move it.
Look at how huge the Log out menu is now…its freaking huge…
I came to the forums to ask about this.
I can make the non-adjustable parts of the UI smaller with UI scaling, but then the things that are reasonably sized–my action bars, portraits, the objective list–become tiny and need their size increased in the Edit Mode, if i can even get them back to ‘normal’.
Why do I feel like I remember this happening last prepatch, at the end of SL?
WoW players dont read or even try to do anything now, they just run to the forums to complain about changes before they even try to learn what changed
Use the addon “BlizzMove” - it is already updated for 11.0
It makes most UI windows movable.
Ctrl + MouseWheel resizes the window under the mouse pointer.
It is also helpful for other oversized windows like auction house and crafting. When getting issues that windows are dismissed by opening other windows, install “NoAutoClose” as well.
Btw it would be good if Blizzard could integrate these addons baseline.
With the spellbook open it covers up my entire action bar 3 and the top portion of Bar 2.
if I hit the magical “minimize” button yes, it becomes a skinnier window, but the height remains unchanged. Now that Spellbook is still covering up Action Bar 3, and the Specialization, Talents, Spellbook tabs at the bottom cover up the first 4 slots of Action Bar 2.
Pressing the button actually made the problem worse.
since i have had to redo my bars over 8 times now cus it keeps getting reset, it’s even more annoying when i have to open spell book, take out a spell, and then close the spellbook so i can place it on bars that are being covered up by it over and over. what a terrible change.
Installing that addon does help, to a degree.
I just wonder why there is so much blank space in the spell book. Why is there so much padding between the spells? The icon size and the font size are fine, but there’s just so much “white space” that the book takes up so much room. Scaling it down helps the overall size, but then it scales down the font and icon size as well.
