Resto main who switches between balance/resto a lot. Can we just add a dropdown menu under the spec you’re switching to so you can pick a loadout? I have different loadouts based on the content I’m doing. Having to switch from balance to resto and then having to cast again to change loadout is just a bit much.
When the game switches you you also have to /reload because you can’t see your loadouts
Or just make loadouts instant swap out of combat. Or is there an addon that does this?
Uh. It’s already simple. Like, you press something like twice and boom. Different loadout in less than half a minute.
You could make the request for the most simple quality of life request and there will still be people simping on the forums saying “um actually, it being worse is better, we don’t need this”
lol. What are you talking about? Out of all the issues the game has, you are worried about the… difficulty of changing specs and loadouts?
How difficult is your life if that adds quality. Its 3 clicks.
When you join a dungeon or raid and it automatically switches you, you have to /reload before you can switch loadouts. It’s not as simple as 3 clicks. It’s two load screens and two cast times.
Weird, never had to /reload to change between ret/prot, between ST and AoE, or raid/M+ specs… you sure?
If you’re talking about it changing your spec in queued content, stop changing spec whilst in queue.
Either way biggest non-issue, you’ll be right.
Why do you need to /reload after changing specs and loadouts? I’ve never had to.
As a restoration main, I quest and do world content in Balance because I’m not insane. When I join a que, it automatically switches me to restoration, however I can only see my balance loadouts despite being in a restoration spec.
The only way to resolve this is to /reload and then switch again. It’s unnecessary and annoying. It’s an affect of the que automatically switching you when you join and there is no fix unless you just quest in restoration like a mad man.
So why do you think the solution to your super serious problem is a problem with changing specs and not… you know the thing “causing” your issue… wouldnt the better solution be “to change the forced talent swap” or “stop me as a player from causing my own problem”? Id personally suggest the second option… you know, if touching a stove burns your hand, stop touching the stove dont replace it…
