Can we just appreciate how good the tier set appearances look in 10.1 & 10.2?

I swear no other tier sets that I have found come even close to how incredible the tier sets look from Aberrus and Amirdrassil. I never cared at all about transmogs because frankly they looked really derpy and not thematic at all to the specific class in BFA and shadowlands or even legion.

The monk sets in all three raid tiers for example look absolutely incredible. The 10.0 set looks thematic to windwalkers, the 10.1 set looks amazing all around to the class, and the 10.2 set looks super thematic to the crane of fistweaving. Just super cool all around. I really really like how the designers have deviated from creating raid specific thematic tier sets like the awful tentacle looking helms from BFA and instead created specialization and class themed sets that look timeless. Like the purple 10.1 shadow priest looking set with the wings or the 10.2 red blood death knight elite set.

Please just keep this up that’s all.

The Aberrus warlock and paladin sets do look absolutely amazing. Oh and priest too.

You’ll get some pushback because everyone has opinions, but this expansion has been pretty fire for tier sets.

The Vault ones were kinda meh because they went way too hard on the raid theme, but still.

Tomb of Sarg had some pretty decent ones too imo

This season’s DK tier is the most DK tier we’ve gotten, and the fact the jaw moves shows that there are 100% people at blizz who love DKs

Just none of them work in the gameplay/writing section

But I love you art team

Yep lock and paladin look incredible I agree

While I agree and share your appreciation of Dragonflight, I’d add tier 2 for sheer creativity and longterm character and several raids in Legion for consistently high quality. The art team has often been above average for WoW.

S3 shaman, lock, dk are all very good. S2 priest, warrior, rogue were very good. This not being an exclusive list, just my favorites. I’d have to put Dragonflight well above average on tier sets.

But they can’t stand on their achievements long. My absolute favorite, Dragonflight S2 priest, rumors said that artist is no longer with Blizzard. There’s still a drain of talent at Blizzard.

Yeah the paladin and dk sets and even warrior sets don’t make sense to the class at all in 10.0. I think 10.1 is where you can see the team when back to the drawing board.

The 10.2 DK tier set is pretty edgy.

I’m working on all recolours for 10.2 DK and Warr, including pvp. Almost caught 'em all

No sorry. Best tier sets are mostly from older expansions.

I dunno, Judgement is starting to look a bit pixely these days.

How judgmental of you

Dragonflight is definitely top tier for the armor sets we’ve gotten. I’d even say 10.2 is the best collective tier set group we’ve ever had imo. This patch is the first time I’ve ever gotten most of the class tier sets while they’re current (having the catalyst helps), and I love them. I normally change my transmogs each expansion, but I’ll keep using the Dragonflight ones well into TWW.

 I always know I’ll get a good response from you when I go for a “pun-itive” comment like that one

Judgement was more of a red flag than a fashion choice when they added transmog

Eh, my only gripe is that warlocks are getting left out of the tunic/open robe thing. Priests and mages both got new coat/robe designs and we’re still stuck with the same old robes…

The only letdown is that druids got such a boring set for their own special focus raid.

The rest of them are fantastic though for sure. Even priest is pretty good - it would’ve been the best in several expansions if it hadn’t followed up the beautiful S tier glory that was the priest Aberrus set lol

I dunno, season 1 monk is super ugly.
Season 2 is okay.

Season 3 is one of the first sets in a while i actually wanted to collect and wear.
So credit for that.
