No titanforging, none of this terrible corruptforging nonsense… Just have a piece of gear drop, if it’s good, equip it. The Classic way of gearing. Maybe mix things up with occasional +5 ilvl warforging, since a little RNG can be good, but nothing more than that.

Hear ye! I’m all for this. I loved the older style of gearing, with actual tier set-bonuses that gave you a clear goal to shoot for. It was nice knowing that you can “reach the top” with the older system. It felt good to walk around with you completed armor set that was “the best” at that time, or at least close to. Now? Sure, you got that 430 piece… but did it Titanforge? What? No socket? Well… keep chasing that carrot, I guess.
I like AZ gear. I like WF/TF. It makes gear more interesting. My 447 fire mage wears the hyperthread wrist wraps even though they’re ilevel 415. Fun gear gives us options and lets us choose the way we play.
Also TF/WF made BiS much harder to obtain and give incentive to run content over and over. Do you really want to finish gearing in a month and wear it until the next expansion?

az and fun gear like the bracers is different than WF/TF gear. I don’t see how WF/TF makes anything more interesting, it’s just a random roll of the dice that increases stats.
Not only will Blizzard deny your request, they’ll add another RNG element to loot as punishment for you making the request.
I will literally raid log in classic until they unbork gearing. If Shadowlands doesn’t have a clear, non-grindy path to gearing with 4873 different currencies and forced unfun daily things to do, I’ll raid log in FFXIV or even put up with ESO’s tragic endgame scene because at least they got gearing right if NOTHING else.
(Also I won’t trust a single word of what they say about how totally fun and sweet and not awful it is until it’s actually out.)

I always check stat priority when I start a new toon or spec, and it’s almost like most of the gear, drops with last spot with regards to stat priority
Or at least re-work mastery, if it’s a mastery should it not be more important? It seems like Mastery is Black-sheep of the family in “most” cases (that I have noticed)

You can just cleanse the corruption and it is normal gear.
then what is the point of corruption forging, just put it in the crapper where it belongs and we will not need 10 websites, a few supercomputers and a math degree to figure out “Is this a upgrade?”
Use Titanic Purification and you’ll have just that.

What they should have done, was kept the upgrade system they had back in like MOP.
Earn some badges, upgrade the gear a few ilvls, would have kept heroic dungeons relevant
