Great Kyron character is giving me hopes of being able to become a paladin elf in my great faction, The Alliance. It’s just a matter of when now.
As long as HM or the forsaken get them horde side, I have no objections.
I had one as a mercenary in my class halls 6 years ago.
No thanks
Less elves will make wow better.
Keep your anime in your anime MMOs that nobody plays.
Why is my burger talking?
There should be more elves.
Night Elves should be the first Alliance Elves to become Paladins since there’s Night Elf Paladins in the Paladin class hall back in Legion.
Since when Elf paladins are anime?
Toss the Night Elf paladins in there and give them a handwave knightly order that will never, ever be mentioned again. Paladin armor will continue in the classic Knight of the Silver Hand libram and hammer theming that’s iconic to the class.
I’m look’n at you, Sunwalkers and Prelates.
Hold on now…
We’ll get pallies for all at some point. I’d guess maybe midnight prepatch, with shammies for all. I’m guessing druids for all is gonna be the last titan.
There should DEFINITELY be more Gnomes. Gnome Paladins in fact, make it happen Blizzard.
As far as I know, this is the last work on the subject (dated April 29, 2024):
Michael Bybee: Yeah, I hear you. I think a Vulpera Paladin would be really cool. You say race restrictions, we say a bunch of extra animation and artwork that we have to do to make that work for a Vulpera Paladin. Unfortunately, especially Paladins and classes that have a lot of extra abilities, it does require work from the team to be able to make that work. Every time we talk about it we feel super passionately about making that. But at this time, we are actually not ready to announce any additional Paladins or other class extensions beyond what you’ve currently seen.
There can never be enough gnomes!
Yea i saw that a few months ago. It is kind of silly in some ways. Night Elf Paladins were established in Legion and should have been opened long ago. Gnomes got priests at some point close to that if i remember right, it shouldn’t be that much of a leap for Gnome Paladins and honestly i can’t wait for both of them to happen.
Hope the team is working on both and it happens sooner rather than later.
Choosing to allocate resources to more important thing than trying to satisfying a bunch of entitled people for whom two hundred and thirteen race/class combos is not enough is not silly.
It is business savvy.
It’s especially business savvy because within a day of Blizzard implementing this, those same entitled people are going to be clamoring for all races/Demon Hunters, all races/Evoker and Dracthyr/all classes because it is never enough.
boy its 2024 and people are still really malding that FF14 is popular huh
Your not wrong but at the same time the work has to be put in. So from my point of view is it a keep “entitled” (and just being honest the vast majority of those wanting to see expanded options for Paladins aren’t “entitled” but some do exist) people happy OR put in the work to make happy fans?
Allocating resources IS important but let’s be real Blizzard isn’t a company hurting for cash AND it never has been in the history of WoW. So are people “entitled” because they ask for things/improvements to the game or are they just wanting to see things that have been talked about for years implemented so they can enjoy it?
The other stuff about race/class combo’s has no meaning on the conversation, they are already done. It’s not like doing more is a bad thing because 213 have already been done. Do you think they just said “nope, we did 213 and we aren’t doing anymore”?
yes. give elf pallies and give human shammies.
i approve.
Elf Paladins are indeed awesome.
Just saying, no bias.
Maybe a half elf one, when they give us the half elf ears.
