Can we have an expansion where we’re not the “Hero” or “Champion”

There are a lot of old RPG’s out there that every time they did a new chapter to them somehow your old character had been killed off or lost somehow and you was starting anew.

FFII did that one of the main characters died in the story and he transferred all of his knowledge and power to his granddaughter she basically became his replacement since she now possessed all of his ingame progress

You mean FFV, by the true numbering. The real FFII didn’t get released in the US initially.

Where did this sentiment come from? I agree that simply being lvl XXX shouldn’t make you a “champion” But listen kids; this is what we boomers call a “Epic campaign”

Part of the reason I love Nathanos so much is that he doesn’t even pretend to be like all the other people kissing your boots.

Yeah but when it got ported over the actual chronological order its was really the fifth game in the series for japan but only the second actual US released game at that time since most of the japanese NES titles were never translated

I think there are ways to do so, personally. For example the whole “Shadowlands” concept could have us meeting a whole boat load of people who have neither a clue nor a care about who we are and what we did.

Bringing us to new places, like Draenor or Shadowlands, is a fresh canvas where no one knows us. It’s pretty easy for us to not be relevant to those people in the new worlds/dimensions/lands.
