Can we have a “I gotta use the restroom - please pause the queue” button.

Not to sound crass, but rofl, depends on length of stay? If you were gone for say 2 mins, I wouldn’t mind waiting, but if you are talking old man time… well would you want to wait an additional 20 mins? 
I’m a big boy now. I use a bottle like the rest of the big boys.
Ah yes, if I leave the room the queue will pop and miss 90% of the time

Oh yes good idea lets hold up the entire que system everytime some needs a bathroom break holding their place in the line effectively forcing others also in position for group be made to wait

i may be wrong but i think you can enter into a solo scenario, like a proving ground, and it will pause the queue.
because they’re solo they pop pretty much instantly, its not ideal if your out in the world, but its something.
but yeah a pause on queues would be handy.
i’m pretty sure its a universal law that “the queue will pop as soon as someone goes afk”
OP is asking for the ability to pause the queue so it skips them if the queue is ready to pop, but they don’t lose their place in line when they come back.

Pausing the queue means you’re pausing just for you. The rest of the players aren’t affected by it.
That’s not what OP is suggesting. I think OP is saying their queue would pause. If they were next in line as a DPS and a tank was all taht was needed and a tank queued, if the DPS were paused, it would skip that DPS and select the next DPS in line. Then when they came back, they would unpause and be back where they were in line.

I understood, was cracking a joke, but I don’t see it working. It wouldn’t just keep dropping the down in the list, there would be a timed countdown on accept just like it is now. Add that up if you are away for 20 mins, and now times that by the lets say 30 other dpsers doing the same.
I get the frustration, I too have “urges” but this would ultimately inflate queue so much more.
How do you know what it would or wouldn’t do? They havent coded it yet. lol
If people are pausing the queue it would be no different (for others) if they hadn’t queued or queued and were afk when the queue popped.
It would just skip you like it currently does. When you queue for 2 lfrs, or a pvp/pve it doesnt pause the queue for everybody else while you’re in those.

It starts the timer while you are in there though, if you queue for 2.
Yes but under that ruleset you could basically jump ahead and the next dps in your place would lose thier position being shoved back
Essentially becoming digital cutting in line seriously no one likes a long que but OP is basically asking for means to step out of line come back later and call frontsies and expect to get placed in the front of the line since his position has now been moved ahead by several places
It currently works that way right now. Queue for 2 lfrs. Finish the first and the second is almost 99% guaranteed to pop instantly. You’re blowing something so simple way out of proportion.
