Can we give the one armed lady a magic shield?

Something like the crystal draenai tech seen in wod?

I know its really late and you made all those promos with her super dumb unworkable one but I would really appreciate it personally.

You can’t use a shield that is effectively attached to your elbow/fore arm and not die instantly in melee combat.

I know its a big ask but it would really, really help sell the character.

Missed opportunity to go for the Chad from Bleach route and basically give her like Hollow/Demonic arm/shield:

Maybe even get inspired by karlach and do something like a light forge in her chest that she has to tune in order to power up insane light blasts in a light berserker mode lmao

Doesnt she have one in the promo materials?

Give her one of these, but magic:

They did, though

I mean like something magic powered. Unless that’s what they mentioned there. Kinda lazy to read ngl

IMHO she should be the absolute master of single hand wep combat, just like Malenia, blade of Miquella; who has never known defeat.

Or have the Mechagnomes make a good prosthetic arm for her.

just turn her into a nugget and throw her in a mech suit

Well, she’s a Paladin, you just know her missing arm at this point is a point of pride for her and the shield her symbol.

Well the way the shield works is also a prosthetic, from the animations that were leaked.

Ah, I didn’t know that, but still, she probably cares more about the symbol it represents than any convenience at the end of the day, it’s basically how every single paladin in media is written.

Well he’s a guy, soooo…

There is questline dialogue in TWW which revolves around this. In all honestly, its really random and out of place and seemed to me like virtue-signaling by the writers to earn those Blackrock DEI credits.

Basically, the blacksmith is like “hey that shield is a piece of garbage and we can make something way better” and yet the hero refuses it because the shield has become part of her identity, despite being in pain from it’s use.

The blacksmith then goes on to say she can at least upgrade it to better absorb the shock from hits, and the hero is like “ok, yeah, maybe, whatever…as long as i’m still dark and brooding”.

And then thats pretty much the end of the dialogue.
