Title says it all. I can’t afford boosting, and no one seems to be doing dungeons the “traditional” way. Nothing against boosting I am just against me not being able to afford it. So since the Spirit of Vanilla was never a thing. Can we get WoW Tokens, or is gold sellers the only option to get competitive. It’s impossible at this late stage to find groups because no one seems to be actually running dungeons they are just boosting.

I’m sure it’s coming but most players need to get used to the current water tempature before they crank it up another notch.

Except many people are leveling and running dungeons on higher pop realms. There was a long lull, but it seems to be making a comeback ramping up for TBC.
I was pretty amazed at the number of warlocks and hunters in Durotar when I rolled a shammy.
A. Its not that hard to find normal groups unless you’re on a dead server
B. These days you can actually make money while being boosted if you put in the effort since most people can’t be bothered to loot mobs anymore.
You could always just… play the game. You get both EXP and gold that way. Like, if you pick up ten (10) Copper Ore as a low level you are set to buy all your skills for the next several hours.
You don’t need to buy gold to play the game, you need to play the game to play the game.

Sure, but the end game is the real game. I could level, and hardly ever see a dungeon. OR Blizzard could give us WoW Tokens so I can get gold to start doing this dungeon farming that is so popular.
I just want to be able to pay for my sub with gold already.
It’s such utter nonsense that you can’t find dungeon groups the “traditional way”. I play on a low pop server on the smaller faction (Horde Deviate Delight) and have no issue getting groups going.
If I want to do BFD for example, I will advertise in the LFG channel and then type /who 22-30 and just whisper level appropriate people if they want to come. It takes me less than 30 minutes to form a group and that’s on low pop.
So, don’t ask for tokens or wait around for others to hustle up groups for you.

Yeah everyone is doing traditional dungeons at 45+. But even then there’s some kind of payment due.
You’re on a weird server. I’ve never paid for a normal leveling group.

players feel peer pressured into skipping the entire game from level 10-60 and people still say blizzard shouldn’t ban paid boosting

Nope. For you maybe. Leveling/gold farming are part of Classic and MMORPGs in general.
Even in end-game you are farming golds.
Adding WoW Token would just legitimate a form a P2W because with golds you can buy everything in-game.
Blizzard should work harder on banning the bots instead of you asking to give them more money for not having to deal with bots (their job)

It’s everywhere even on Sulfras, I feel like it’s worse on Sulfuras with GDKP groups being normal now.
