Can we get the MoP Challenge Mode gear as a twitch drop?

Basically the title xD

I think it would be super cool, since they are releasing a lot of stuff us noobies couldnt get at the time. Would love to finally achieve that set like the rest of you! :smile:

That actually is a good idea. One would think older expansions would be transmogs purchased with Darkmoon Faire tickets. Instead, we get transmogs on costumes that look like really cheesy scifi movies.

can we get the different tint from the CM gear but uses the same model. thereā€™s unused colors

I would love the monk CM set, Iā€™d put it with the Lorewalkerā€™s tabard and the straw hat from the farm.

But it most likely will not ever happen.

Iā€™d like to see them make MoP/WoD timewalking M+ just like Legion has, and put the old challenge rewards on those. Thereā€™s really no legitimate reason not to beyond the time it would take to tweak the dungeons for M+ compatibility, but thatā€™s something theyā€™ll have to do eventually with rotating in old dungeons to the current season anyway.

Iā€™d be interested to see what other timewalking M+ affixes theyā€™d come up with for each expansion. Plenty of sha-related possibilities for MoP.

Or they could just re-enable MoP challenge modes. They always scaled you to a specific level anyway.

Class mechanics are different, but they recycled mage tower in the same way.

I agree somewhat, but i dont really want to diminish the work people did in MoP to get those sets. I think you should have to do something a little challenging! :yum:

Well the Darkmoon Faire rollercoaster ride is a challenge to stay awake.

I would gladly pay for a recolor of those sets. That way the OGs still get to show off if they got it.

I would prefer if they make a new challenge to earn them again or make a recolor/simpler version as dropsā€¦ those sets were earned through the hardest content available at the time and getting them free through twitch feels off.

I donā€™t think the originals should come back, but each set has like 2-3 recolors already made in the game files that have been sitting there since MoP. Some of them are really cool too, like the red paladin set. They could easily make those available for some new challenge. Though would definitely prefer it be on a challenge than something like the trading post or a twitch drop.

It doesnā€™t even work that way, now, for people who got the Challenge Mode armors back then. You only have it on the character you did it on. Itā€™s not account-wide.

If you want it back into the game, and I very much so am part of that group, then youā€™d have to make suggestions that stand at least a hairā€™s breadth worth of a chance to get implemented

They are adding old dungeons into the M+ pool
During MoP timewalking week, make you have to complete a +10/+15 for each one of the MoP Timewalking dungeons, that sort of a thing

Not entirely sure that would work all that well but thatā€™s an example of a suggestion that actually stands a chance at getting implemented though

Terrible idea, let the mop CM mogs go man. Too bad so sad you didnā€™t earn them when they were relevant you only had 2 whole years. Let things in this game actuslly be prestigious thanks

As a Twitch drop?? No.

I have long been a champion of this idea:

After 5 years, bring it all back. BUT, it should never be as easy as just walking up to a vendor and buying it and/or BMAH. There needs to be SOME sort of equivalent path to get the item. But after 5 years, EVERYTHING should be available. The Achievement system is there and timestamps your items if you really need to prove you have ā€œthe original.ā€ That timestamp invalidates any complaint about ā€œkeep it rare.ā€

So the MoP CMs should come back, but not as something as simple as a Twitch drop.
