In the future, can it be possible to just drop the whole “combine 10 fragments to make a whole” system from reagents and get rid of the combined forms altogether (like Rousing/Awakened)? Recipes could just use 10 of the lesser forms instead of 1 combined item.
It’s just an annoyance to have to take the 10 Rousings out of the reagent tab, close the bank (so it doesn’t deposit the Rousings back in automatically), right click them, and then open the bank back up to click “deposit reagents” whenever you get enough Rousings to combine with those sitting in the bank.
I know this is a minor issue, but it’s just annoying, and I don’t see anything that is gained from having the distinction.

Keep your Rousing elements in your new Reagent Bag.

I like to use “deposit reagents” to make sure I’m depositing all of my reagents when I go to the bank (sometimes the regeant bag fills up, and regents start crowding my bag), so theu automatically go in, unfortunately.
Like I said - this system just adds a level of annoyance without adding anything meaningful in return.

someone in here was right…we really WILL whine about every piddling little thing in here.

The idea is that crafting some things take 1 rousing, those cost 1/10th of Awakened which is required for other things.
This is a suggestion. If they have the choice to either have this in the game or not, I’d rather they not. This is a minor inconvenience, but it doesn’t need to be in the game going forward.
How the heck are we supposed to give feedback about something we don’t like if we don’t give them feedback? They aren’t mind readers.

I remember way back in the day grinding out tons and tons of fire motes for whatever reason. Still have dreams about it. Those were the good ol’ days

Right, but then those other things could just require 10 Rousings instead. It’s what Cataclysm did with its elemental items after Wrath and TBC had systems like we have now.

And the Mists went back to Motes of Harmony turning into Spirit of Harmony.
Not saying that was a good choice
I could understand back in the day when items didn’t stack as high in bags and reagent tabs didn’t exist, having a way to cut the number of items you had by 10 would allow 10 times more of a reagent to fit in your bags. Now that items stack to 1000 though, it’s not doing much.
Time to let it die for the sake of simplicity (and I’d argue you’d be losing nothing in the process).

We have a bag literally dedicated to regeants.
I understand. My problem comes in when, as an enchanter, I need to make a separate trip to the bank to check if I have enough Rousings to turn into an awakened item. Some of us like to deposit our regeants in the bank because, I don’t know about you, but I’m picking up more types of reagents than the number of spaces in my bag. I don’t constantly open the reagent tab of the bank to consolidate when I visit (and consolidating 10 that are inside the bank is like 4 steps).
Nothing is gained from having these being distinguished, but having them being distinguished is creating annoying and inconvenient situations for me. If it’s not annoying or inconvenient for you, that’s great. But this solution fixes my issue without impacting you at all.
No, it’s a time honored tradition dating back to TBC. You leave my old mat systems alone.
Yeah I was actually glad that went away and confused on why tf it was back. Please stop doing this Blizzard.

I am not looking forward to killing 10 boats and getting 3 hooves
You’re lucky to even get 1 hoove with boats.

A good solution that I’ve wanted for a while (and may already exist and I don’t know about) is to have a function that allows me to hold Ctrl or Alt (or another button) and click on “useable” items while the bank or vendor window is open. That would allow us to use the item instead of transferring it to the bank or vendor window.
It’s also a waste of bag space. The new reagent bag is a godsend, but it didn’t change anything ultimately because now we have multiple qualities of all ores, herbs and leather, as well as multiple qualities of intermediate crafting materials like the various tailoring bolts, engineering screws, gems, inks, etc, and to top it all off, the random animal parts, bug fluids, feathers and such.
And then there’s these elements, where you want both the rousing and awakened forms for crafting…
Edit: Oh, and somehow we’ve gone from 2 types of cloth per expansion to 5 types of cloth… 4 of which are entirely useless except for unraveling into thread and getting some elements out of it - but of course you need exactly 5 to unravel so you’re bound to have leftover cloth sitting in your bags too!

They already got rid of smelting, you can click on a stupid essence.
But why? What does it add to the game aside from an annoyance?
