Blizzard has explicitely stated they don’t want to do this. Add in the drama over the ddos deaths and I wouldn’t bet a single dollar you get TBC hardcore.
Did they ever give a reason why HC isn’t going to TBC? Seems like it would be fun and open up a whole new challenge.
Only some blah-blah about it not being in the spirit of HC 
I just wish they at least could put in the two watchers for the Soul of Iron buff, so that we could try anyhow.
They also said they were open for feedback and suggestions - I’ll keep on asking.
The DDoS drama is 100 % Blizz’s own making.

I was just thinking about this. They did say something when HC first came out that TBC/WotLK’s design didn’t support it? I can’t remember the details, but if one wanted to dig up the original HC announcement, you might find what they said.
Either way, it didn’t make sense to me at the time. Are there quests that just auto-kill you maybe?
In BC there are 1 or 2 raid bosses that insta-kill you - I do not know of any Quests, but there might be.
In Classic HC some existing auto-kill Quests were changed to not kill you. I cannot understand why the same could not be done for BC. The blah-balh about not in the spirit, is so not true. We were a bunch that levellend through Classic from 2019 on playing IronMan Challenge - an OG Hardcore mode - long before the Addon users showed up.
Yea that’s what I was thinking. That or players can just not do those…? At the end of the day HC is a personal challenge. Players can work around the restrictions.
With that said, given that HC is a personal challenge, you can still do your own in TBC like players used to on BB before official servers, I guess. I support official servers, just pointing out that the personal journey option will always exist, at least.

I have played IronMan since 2012 - on he normal servers and on the Classic ones too. It would just be so much more fun to have an official HC server for BC as well - or just the Soul of Iron buff.

yes they need to do it badly. and then have a fresh server every year of vanilla-tbc- wotlk
We need LESS versions of the game dividing the playerbase at this point, not more.
Also there’s a very real chance that the unreal 5 graphic reskin of a certain pserver is going to take a chunk of players itself.

Yes please have TBC era servers this time round
I’m still salty these weren’t a thing, TBC is my favorite by a mile and my dual warglaives warrior was some of the most fun I’ve ever had.
Easily would be playing BC still

As an era enjoyer, who personally never liked the tbc expansion, I hope you all get permanent tbc realms. I want people to be able to play the game they love.

It would be nice. I myself liked wrath the most. So I want permanent wrath classic.
Bump again. Not stopping until blizz answers us. And anyone who thinks otherwise or feels we shouldn’t get permanent era servers of our favorite versions of the game can go chew out elsewhere.
