Warlocks and Death Knights, I mean. There’s tons of already created models for both Undead and Demons in the game which could be given as options to players with just glyphs or something similar. Don’t even require a whole new thing like they did with Incubi.
It’s just crushing that year after year, Hunters get more and more love while the other two pet classes either get forgotten or even things taken away from them (or shoved into a pvp only talent).

I’d like a permanent pet on DKs. If I raised my friend from the dead as a ghoul… I want to be able to name him and keep him around permanently.

Eh, not really. But I’m trying.

we need a poodle for hunters.
It’s ridiculous they haven’t done so already.
Play customisation is a very slow process for blizz it seems.
I say go full blown Guild Wars 1 tier companion system. let everyone build a whole raid group of AI pets and companions with skill builds and equipment.
We went through the entire origin of DKs power and a land of nothing but ghouls and various undead
And DKs got nothing new for pets, safe to say we’re getting nothing

Or even do it how SWTOR does their companions.
i want my dog honor back!
I TOTALLY agree. I’d be okay if the change was only cosmetic. Though I would also be nice if we had pet families for undead and demons too.
The way they did the Incubus addition tells me they could really add more options if they wanted to!
My Unholy DK’s pet is glyphed to look like those Icecrown gimps. I summon and explode him til I get a name I like. It’s taken up to 10 minutes before.

Yeah, but that’s asking too much, especially of this Dev team.
This might be an unpopular opinion, but I did not enjoy hunters and their pets until after they became simplified, and always preferred my warlock and their simple pets. Feeding pets, pet specs and whatnot… for whatever reason it was information I had no desire to learn. But I do love my BM hunter now, for sure. Like on one hand I appreciated the RP aspects to it but in reality the management of it all (on top of arrow management) was too much for younger me. And probably me now.
HOWEVER at the same time, I’ve always wished my demons were more… impactful? And that there was more opportunity to use whatever demon you want. I am currently just using my succubus because my warlock is an LFR Gawd and I feel like someone else can interrupt or dispel. When I started playing in TBC one of the biggest draws to warlock for me was the Betty Page lookin’ succubus.
I know people have mixed feelings about Demo locks (old spec vs. new spec) and although I think summoning imp armies is fun as hell, I do sometimes wish there was slightly (veeeery slightly) more complexity to warlock pets.
My opinion isn’t as developed on my DK and his pets because he is like… a tertiary character to me. But I love him and his undead army nonetheless.
I want a gnome companion.
