Perhaps a mythic one as well?

Don’t get me wrong on launch these were yawn fest dumpster fires but when they are tuned decently they are great fun.

This could be the first terrible system you made blizzard that can actually be salavaged into a fun mode!.

Blizzard prefers “throw away and start over from scratch” to “iterate until you have a working model”.

I think 8.3 is bringing heroic Darkshore. But these are the only two warfronts we’ll get.

I did Heroic Stromgarde once.

It was still boring AF.

I’m really sad warfronts didn’t catch on. They really reminded me of the RTS games. The heroic stromgarde warfront is some of the most fun I’ve had in the game.

Warfronts were designed as an expansion exclusive feature. 8.3 is probably the last patch of the expansion. I doubt they will be carried forward. They should just make them into Epic Battlegrounds at this point.

we will be getting heroic Darkshore in 8.3 (around january) but it’s pretty much guaranteed to be the last warfront we get. it sucks cause they had so much potential, with fighting going on in different land between 2 different races. would have loved to get an Elven Warfront in front of Silvermoon City with fights between the High Elves and Blood Elves with help from the Void Elves and Nightborne (would have been a great time to show off that the horde did in fact become allies with the San’layn and they joined the fight as well, maybe in place of the Nightborne so it’d be 4 different sub-factions of elves that all originated from Quel’thalas).

I really like doing them. I get a little excited when I see an enemy group heading towards one of our captured spots and there aren’t any players there to defend it. I run across the map to take em out. The boss guarding it usually does a fine job defending, but I still enjoy going there. It becomes my goal to save as many NPCs as possible. lol

Love the heroic warfront… great when came out and fun…

Only did last on two toons, probably was in 5 that no one could survive the fort encounter after mines and lumber were secured… so everyone would bail once they started dying, really was a buzzkill to see the great gen whaaaa flight… or whatever this gen of kids is called
