Can we get Garrosh back?

He was a champ.

He’d fix the Horde.

That makes no sense.

But no, Garrosh was not “a champ.” Garrosh incited a civil war after attempting to create an ethnostate, ran literal internment camps filled with his allies, and meddled with the powers of an Old God to the point at which he scarred and destroyed a neutral party’s sacred vale. Then, as if he couldn’t get any worse, he formed what was perhaps the least intimidating threat in Warcraft history, who didn’t even bother to ensure that their own planet was subjugated before coming to attack another one.

Garrosh was rejected for a reason, and he would not “fix the Horde.”

Give em the right tools and a return story and he could.

Nobody embodied the spirit of the Horde better than Garrosh did.

And at a time like this we need someone like Garrosh more than ever, now that a council filled with traitors and cowards sits at the Hordes head at the boy Kings behest.

I’m not interested in having the eighteenth blue Horde argument, and I’m DEFINITELY not interested in having the forty sixth “Garrosh did nothing wrong” conversation.

Nothing wrong with putting the War back in Warcraft.

Besides it gana have to happen either way as our story won’t end with SLs.

The war never left Warcraft. It doesn’t have to be the faction war. In fact, the best narratives have usually been the ones that DON’T revolve around the faction war. I fail to see what you think needs to happen post Shadowlands.

The Horde’s status right now is a polarizing thing that’s another discussion, one that’s been done to death. Garrosh, however, is not the solution. Garrosh was a racist megalomaniac who would do more harm than good.

Will put a tighter leash on him.

It’ll be fine.

I guess it depends on if the Shadowlands are like the Legion, where there’s only one for all realities. If not, then the question is moot since everyone who died in alternate Draenor are in the alternate Shadowlands. If yes, then there’s a potentially infinite number of Garrosh’s you can choose from. A Buffet o’ Garrosh.

He’d need to drop his racist attitudes towards everything not orc for starters. Aggression towards Alliance, fun as it might be sometimes, just doesn’t work, so he’d need to drop that as well. Unless they attack first of course which they’d never do anyway so that’s that.

Maybe he’s better off as a general of armies instead of a political leader.

**thinks back to that one time he sent the player on a derpy suicide mission, and also that time he attacked Alliance while they were engaged with Scourge thus giving new troops to the real enemy.

On second thought, maybe he’s better off sulking in whatever corner of the maw he’s in.

We’d have to let Tyrande strike first of course.

Once she does though that’ll be Garroshes time to swoop in.

…why don’t we make em Undead or something?

I still don’t understand the logic of Iron Horde attacking Azeroth when they didn’t have complete control over Draenor.

It was a glaring fatal flaw in their plan that seemed so fixable. Given how far they’d progressed before we arrived, it’s entirely likely they’d have had complete success in their conquest had we not intervened.

Ner’zhul would have successfully summoned the Dark Star and decimated Karabor. Fenros would have assumed victory over the Frostwolves while they were busy fighting the Bladespire. Draenor, by and large, was their’s for the taking, yet instead of just doing the simple legwork to make it their’s, they opened up a portal to an entirely unfamiliar world that had just pounded Garrosh’s Kor’kron into dust, took five hostile steps inside, then were immediately ousted and promptly reverse invaded.

The Iron Horde was truly a bastion of gross incompetence.

No thank you.

I would only want Garrosh to return so we could drag him in front of Thrall, just to make him feel like a failure. Then kill Garrosh immediately after.

It would soften the blow from Thrall’s kill steal in WoD if he didn’t do it right, and we got the chance to remedy that as we rub it in his face.

“You’re useless, Thrall. You can’t even kill him right! Here’s how you do it…”

Because we need another war started by the Horde so they can find themselves again.

A war started by the Horde usually means genocide and brutal murder of innocents.

You say that like its a bad thing.

Seriously, if you’re going to curse us with the inane psychobabble that spews out of that rotting piece of fruit you call a brain, at least be more creative. Because as it stands, the forum would benefit greatly if you were to never post on it again.

What?

You want a war where people don’t die?
