Assuming dinars stay the same as now (requiring a boss kill to get specific boss loot) and assuming dinars are offered next season, can we start accumulating them right away when the season starts?
Since new dinars are only bad luck protection anyway (not Season 4 style meme dinars), there is no reason to delay them for so long.
Also, please raise the season cap to at least 4 pieces of gear.
Everything would be balanced about everyone already having their best trinkets off the start. This version seems like a good compromise, maybe just a little earlier in the season.
Like if they released them this week, it would be fine.
I am assuming they would give 1 dinar a week (not start off with 3 like this season), and we’d need 3 dinars to buy one gear. So, at the earliest, it would be 3rd week.
A vast majority of the people will not have access to BIS (mythic) gear boss kill by 3rd week, if ever. So, I doubt they would have to balance around it.
But, if we can get 4 pieces of gear, people can at least use first ones to get heroic versions of BIS gear early and enjoy them. Even if they don’t end up getting the mythic version, at least it is not a huge difference and they will be able to use it for a long time since they can get it in early season.
If you want dinars then you will have to accept titan forging coming back too. Blizz can’t have everyone to be in BiS gear in week 3 of the season. That is the reality of it.
They already do this. Let’s not forget the DF S3 fiasco of every class that could use Fyr’alath being tuned around having it. It didn’t feel like a legendary. It felt like an equalizer.
