Yeah cause neither has a source which your ignoring for your narrative
Are you trying to tell me, that I am NOT a giant lumbering bovine beast in real life? That I am in fact playing something that is vastly different from myself because “Damn fantasy race do be fantastical.”?
Absolutely absurd I’ll have you know.
The ALM vibes of people fighting tooth and nail against keeping black blood elves out of TBC that effects the gameplay in zero way.
What motive could be driving these people to so passionately fight against it.
Also like to add that classic is running on a modified version of retail so the darker skin option really shouldn’t be too out there.
Not wanting to devote development time to creating new customization options because, despite the game running on a modified version of retail, the older character models are using completely different skin meshes from retail, which have not had those customizations made for them and so would need dedicated development time to create that could instead be used to ensure the game is…you know…working
but do go on about how it’s about race
Nothing has to be created because everything is there lmao… but I guess lets #changes to create a noob island for level 58 boosted characters
Not only that, blood elves already have a darker skin tone then they had on retail until shadowlands… just change that skin tone and I’m satisfied
The Black and Asian options in retail look absolutely dreadful. Like Blizzard slapped it together over a weekend rather than giving it the development time any character customization option in an rpg deserves. Poundcakes here is a better looking black woman than you can create in retail in my opinion.
yes it does as I explain in the rest of my post that you’ve clipped out of your quote
You think color changes aren’t changed with a flip…?
Do you think it cost the same development time to make a red helmet green that it does creating dungeon encounters? This is a minimalistic request.
I’ve never had a human chat because the black option is terrible until the shadowlands changes
You clearly don’t know how character modeling actually works
No, it costs the same development time to make sure the dark portal doesn’t send players into the middle of the fatigue zone though
Unless you want them to look absolutely dreadful, you can’t just flip a switch and “color swap”. You would have to go into the skin textures and redo them so the darker contrast does not null out any of the small amount of detail the skins have.
I think there is more to the character customization options than just the skin colors. The skin colors look awful too.
Okay I still want Black blood elves, it’s really not that serious like y’all are crying about so much… we’re 70 post in of people really arguing noooo with silly excuses
We heard this a million times when trying to get it in retail, ultimately Blizz admitted it had been wrong.
You want to talk hubris while your sole goal is to prevent representation here- if it truly is something that is not important, why are you so set on preventing black skin tones?
If it truly mattered nothing to you, you wouldn’t even be bothering to post here- but it does, you have a drive to ensure that black people are not part of the game. What’s really alarming is to see that even after Blizz admitted it was wrong and put a nail in the coffin of this argument- people like you keep the racism alive and strong.
The ever unassailable “you either agree with me or you’re racist”
You people are the reason legitimate protest isn’t taken seriously
I never said you can’t have them. I just pointed out it isn’t as simple as you made it out to be. Blizzard has stated they do not want to actively develop 2 mmos at the same time. So don’t expect them to really go out of their way to do stuff in classic.
Sun exposure isn’t the only determination of skin tone, otherwise vikings woulda been very dark, climate also matters, and looking at the map is say the elves are in a cooler region, so lighter skin would allow them to stay warmer
The ever unassailable ‘taking time to shoot down requests for representation and dark skin tones in games doesn’t make me racist’.
You’re spending time asking for less customization specifically because it’s dark skin tones- that is what you are doing. That’s clear cut racism. If you weren’t a racist, you’d either not care if there were dark skin tones put in, or you’d support their addition.
You’re fighting tooth and nail against black blood elves though lmao, the developers, so much code to pull off waaaaa
Damn, they need to add transmog to classic and only have one thing available. That outfit only for belves.
It’s a skin color
