Can we get Black blood elves in TBC

What about Italian-American Trolls? I mean, we deserve something too, ya know what I mean?

What’s a Glinda? Are they tasty?

You just gotta read what’s left unsaid.

I mean, is it really “woke times” when major demographics of players would like to have the ability to look like their characters?

Considering games like Rift, Age of Conan, SWTOR, Warhammer etc; you could be black/asian/hispanic characters way back then. Let’s not politicize good choices in character design.

it says exactly what I said here from the official TBC User manual.

It does, but it doesn’t change the tone of their skin. The black blood elves are customization and inclusive thing, not a lore-based one. Could Blizzard give lore for them? Yep at any point, they could, but point to lore and saying “this is why we should have black blood elves” does the exact opposite. It says you shouldn’t have them. Their original skin tone and hair color were reflections of that.

Also kind of means they should be able to have black, brown, or blue hair colors.

EDIT: Granted… taken in to consideration what has happens since their introduction lore wise. It could be that their hair also changes with the type of magic they are using/exposed to like their eyes. As well Void Elves and just Blood Elves who were consumed by the void for a time… and they got Purple eyes and Void-esk hair colors… Damn barbie dolls.

Sorry, but it was Dark Iron dwarves who have the fire affinity. Also, the Blood Elves are more autumn than direct no cover sunlight. Further, it is a video game so they have pixels, not melanin.

No, that is not the correct answer.

I wonder if they could make Blood Elves with different orientations, too.

Okay. Then what is wrong with wanting a Black elf?

I thought Glinda was better than that as well. Apparently I was wrong.

What is wrong with the current blood Elves?

The fact that they are blood elves and exist is wrong enough.

Nothing, beyond the fact they are limited in the representation they allow those who play them.

Actually… They’re also not skinnable.

Probably for the best.

They would make really creepy drums.

They’d break on the first use… And drain the party’s mana. So, about as useful as the race.

I thought these types of suggestions were limited to the Overwatch forums, not WoW.

I think folks are finally getting bored of the boost, mount and arena threads. :man_shrugging:

Might as well start asking for genders to be removed as well I guess.

Hey, people want their blood elves to look like the cast of Friends.
