I go with if I run from past me then I can’t fix future me. I just stick on fuzz sometimes Alugard and if you did something in the past that you feel ashamed of, take it head on and go from there.

It’s not automatic Ard. It’s that so far all of the arguments against it are make believe backed up with citations like “This was revealed to me in a dream”, things that don’t actually have anything to do with the ignore feature like mod actions and combating toxicity, or a belief that people should be able to force others to hear what they say.
There hasn’t been anything that makes sense or is something that isn’t already possible with the current system.

Reason why many of us stood up against that post directed towards Ard is because people do have tollerance at knowing what is the right thing to say, and what is the wrong thing to say. Despite Ard had a passing in his family, if I recall correctly, with everyone, whether we’re friends with them or not, nobody has the right to use that towards him or make a comment like what that person did. There is the big difference there.
