Good thing I’ve got them on ignore. They’re just proving on the problems with the forums.
He knows just as well as everyone else, but he is looking at still wanting options to troll the forums and abuse forum privileges as he has done in other threads.

That’s NOT my main motivation though.
My main motivation is for privacy and for as much as possible for people to avoid knowing the real me.
It would be a different situation to me if I was talking to someone’s specific character in game on different alts, but on a public forum sorry I simply don’t see it that way.
As was said, I have no idea of who ignores me who doesn’t.
Yes I did, I hope that proves that when it comes to protecting my privacy at all costs I’m not kidding.
Anyway, I do want you to all know that even if we disagree on this strongly, I won’t forget the time you stood up for Ardmccloud when someone said something very inappropriate towards him, that does give me some hope for humanity.
Whether or not that is your intent, that is what your actions accomplish.

You’re right, because on the forum, we’re replying to the person, and not the character.
Does it matter who ignores you? I guarantee I have people who ignore me, don’t see me caring much if I am ignored. Being ignored isn’t the end of the world, and having account wide ignores helps with privacy rather than invade.
So, how about you answer this?
Did you name a hunter you real last name?
Did you name a warrior your street address?
Did you name a monk your date of birth?
Did you name a paladin your shoe size?
Did you name a demon hunter your social security number?
If the answers is no to anything, than account wide ignores does not invade your privacy. Your alts are not private information, your BattleTag are not private information.

Your alts aren’t even yours. Technically, they belong to Blizzard, who grants you a limited non-transferrable license to use while you have an active subscription.
