6 to 7 months without a proper update seems rather telling of how critical an issue this is to Blizzard.

i do know that if account wide ignore still implemented the hidden message feature, then people could find others’ alts by ignoring someone and then looking for hidden messages.
someone else wrote that problem is solved by removing the hidden message feature - if you ignore someone, u ignore all of their alts entirely…
you don’t see any messages they write, any threads they write are automatically muted to you.
that’s a perfectly fine answer and i had no problems with that, which is why i stopped posting here…

it was a request for account-wide ignore, via any means possible.
something which we’re constantly told will be a problem, is “witch hunts”.

Well if Blizzard can afford losing the “listens to its community” label.
They don’t even have to. Just out-source everything that used to happen on the forums to reddit.

Can we talk about how absurd the hecklers veto is here? The same 4-5 people can show up in any of these threads with the explicit objective of devolving the thread to the point where it gets shut down and nothing happens to them.
