I wouldn’t exactly call what has been happening here on the forums recently as excitment.
Homophobic/transphobic post? Real Life Threats of Self Harm? Harassment? Impersonation? Seriously, all these are not excitment. In fact, these are serious issues that has all recently happened, in which you’re trying to defend with your previous acts of “privacy.” But guess what, you’re so called privacy has nothing to do with with what other people go through or what other people do in relation to what really is privacy!

Agreed, it’s quite disturbing. We are all compassionate about WoW, but no reason or need to cross lines.
Real Life Threats of Self Harm should be a perma ban.
People will continue through alts or throw away alts to continue their shenanigans, account wide ignore would be useful for only one time ignore per account. Ignoring an account instead of infinite alt army would be easier.

Which has likely happened to many others but they don’t use those experiences as an excuse to raise hell and high water just to back suggestions for a digital forum improvement.

Let me pause ya right there.
I would prefer that the person that does that to me, if i put them on ignore is perma banned but in the case they aren’t for whatever reason… having the ability to not see the hate spewed is good.
Along with a gnome that swaps alts constantly to harrass people (so far a shaman and a dk). We only get so many reports so…
Side note regular ignore on the forums keeps defaulting back to mute and idk why on that poster. I tried fixing and it will not go back to ignore.

Don’t take the troll bait. They are looking for any excuse to get attention. Just ignore them, and let them live in their own imaginary world.

You’re going to see it anyway as no amount of ignores is going to catch all the hate you could see from different users as the games quality keeps dipping.

Trust me, they’re just looking for ways to get the thread shut down. If we all do the right thing and ignore the forum trolls, then instead of the thread getting shut down, they’ll will be dealt with appropriately.

Most of what’s being argued here is being viewed through an emotional lens.
If Blizzard really thought stronger ignores was needed, they’d of done it by now.
