Yea the “hidden reply” is weird to me. I mean I chose to ignore the person so let me ignore him completely.

how can you force your entire server’s trade chat to ignore the person harrassing you?
Usually that’s because you’re in the thread and it doesn’t update hidden messages unless you refresh the page.
I mean, no way that could happen now since it’s not like we all post under our character name, guild name, and the server is just a click away.

If you ignore the person in game, you ignore there entire account, which means in every channel, even whispers, you will not see any messages sent from the user.
Are you really that dense to not know how the in-game ignore works?

I wish we had both options because if I ignore someone in the game I certainly don’t want to interact with their alts - ever.

- If I have a player on ignore, it should automatically “Mute” any threads they make. 100% ignored, account wide.

Not to mention, it’s a stupid argument to make, because whoever attempts to do that in game is just getting themselves banned for it.

You have my vote on this. The ignores from the game should cross over to the forums and visa-versa.

oh so you are saying, hey “its already possible to harass someone from the forums, so we might as well give people more options to continue harrassment.”
can you force everyone in your trade chat on your server to ignore the person?
because that is who the harrasser would be talking to.
the harrasser would go into the victim’s server’s trade chat and tell everyone in trade chat bad things about the victim.
the victim cannot control the ignore list of their entire server of players.
That’s not already a thing O.o
Don’t get me started on the in-game ignore system. It needs a refresh too. Account-wide without having to add the person to ignore on each of your toons.

I dunno, it was a while back, and it was a pretty contentious thread, might have been elf based, but it was a pretty big thread, and a few of us noticed that the user hidden wasn’t showing up for a certain poster

Eh. I’d rather that not exist or be an option. Sometimes those threads end up being something I want to read, even if I don’t want to hear the OP.

Not if they switch characters and make a new thread. As for a character you have on ignore…I guess I’m not too sure to be honest! But I doubt it

No, because then it is a reportable and punishable offense, which is harassment, and it could lead to actual action taken against my entire account.
As I said, Blizzard is very quick on any form of harassment. And repeating the offense gets more tougher on you.

They don’t refresh correctly in fast moving threads and especially if you’re in it posting at the time. Discourse can be wonky.
