Can we get account wide ignore?

yeah it’s like these people don’t want us to leave because they know no one else will post in their thread if we arent here

One can claim what one wants, but Ive been in most or all of these threads since the beginning of the year. The behavior has been absolutely consistent.
At a point they either need to ban this topic…or make a mega thread and suspend anyone who starts a new one.

I remember people saying this same thing about Classic Server posts. The vitriol on that topic was way worse.

well if people can’t be trusted to behave, maybe they should just get rid of the threads altogether?

i think banning the topic would probably be a good idea to be perfectly honest.

thank you for suggesting that, friend… i really approve of that idea

I don’t make ignore announcements I just do it.

If they bypass my ignore I silently tell a mod and complain.

Account wide ignore will save me these steps and where mods don’t have to do extra babysitting work.

Although I do see the ones I ignore sometimes only because the forums get glitchy.

Im learning some lessons with this crowd, lol.
though at one point I just wasnt coming into the threads and they still flag bombed some posts that got restored and drew me back in.

This thread I actually wanted to have a good exchange but you know who came in and ruined it again. Once he shows up the rest just join in with the ad hominem crap and its pretty much all over at that point as far as having any meaningful discussion.

Notice that they keep making it sound like theyve ignored us…but keep right on posting at us anyway.
not the behavior of someone who WANTS an account wide block

Issue with the mega threads is, there have been topics that have hit the point of megathread before but they get shut down because certain members against changes like what is being asked for come in and troll. When one gets shut down, another gets started, do I really have to explain it? Trolling threads to get them shut down, only results in more of the topic getting made, if you really want the topic to die, DON’T POST IN IT

Why not shut the whole forums down? We can’t have people arguing over difference of opinions and let trolls have their fun. If you don’t like the topic, mute the thread and move on.

I’m kind of shocked this thread is still up.

I’m still for the idea, but took leave of this thread when it began to devolve yet again into the same exact people, arguing the same exact points which have been regurgitated ad nauseum in every prior thread similar to this one.

doobly is either khrog or Lilithia I believe

Doobly and Drraffe used the exact same style, Drraffe is most likely khorg.

well not every thread has the issues that this thread (and every other btag thread has)…i have never seen a thread locked other than the btag threads.

so obviously there is something going on with that topic that requires them all to be shut down.

might as well just make a rule against making threads that discuss changes to the forums, it seems like a very volatile topic in my honest opinion.

i really wish you would respect my right to discuss this topic… it is not polite to tell people to leave the thread.

Drraffe spoke almost the exact same in all regards to Doobly over in the player housing thread.

Burner accounts. Wild.

Infinite free burner accounts is just an unpardonably bad decision from blizzard.

:point_up_2: This !

It’s not difficult, heck let’s ask for account wide thread mutes while we’re at it. :grinning:

If the thread upsets a person there is no reason to act like a jerk to shut it down, just mute it.

I think they also enjoy pushing peoples buttons, that is why they don’t leave or just put the thread on mute and move on.

They also doing this on sacrifice burnier account.

There was a btag thread about 2 years ago where people were civil.

You have no rights here aside what Blizzard allows.

Don’t care… The blues will tell you the same thing.

There is this, and there is also the right of others to ask them or request that they leave if they don’t seem to like or really be interested in the topic.

This is ignoreing the fact that it is just as impolite or rude to remain in something that has been made clear they are not wanted

That is one thing about the anti-idea crowd, they tend to only look at things from their perspective, like they might think they are being polite or have rights but the fact is: their rights don’t trump the rights of others and they can come across as rude for still putting themselves into conversations there they have been told, maybe politely, to leave.

I like how defensive they are of their right to troll here while also pushing to have the rules changed to punish people for bringing up the opposite opinion

i see you offered a reply to my post, which i appreciate.

it is very nice to see someone offer an opinion but unfortunately you are wrong here, my friend.

blizzard does allow me to post messages in this thread, so i do have the right to post here.

thank you so much for your input, friend
