if we control our behavior, stop the insults and attacks as one side has been doing for something like 12-15 threads now, and actually IGNORE those theyve claimed to, then this forum will be a better place.
I find it odd they keep going on about sock puppets, while they say they ignored your current account, but then keep posting at you.
Thats not the behavior of someone who is actually trying to IGNORE someone.
The evidence seems to indicate that a better ignore will just be used in the same way the current one is.

And yes I have seen your concerns about protecting your alts from being discovered… this is why we have added to our proposal that Ignore erases all existence and quote mentions of the person you have blocked.
We are also asking for the Account Wide Ignore system to carry over into the entirety of the BattleNet platform so that people won’t be able to harass you or target you in ANY game that’s attached to it. You can finally play your Lost Viking game in peace knowing that no one will be able to grief you in game, Ever, again.

You are asking way too much of the public.
People can’t control their behavior, reason we need account wide ignore.
You ignore one character they switch bypass ignore, wash, rinse and repeat.
yeah…I know what you mean. The pro taggers have done that exact thing to me and Doobly a few times while yelling about how they hate alt hopping.
They are asking others to do something that they themselves have repeatedly failed at in spectacular fashion.
Look at what Bari posted about them when they were on their DK, while they were botting some forum actions (self liking).

yes, this is the biggest problem i believe… the people who are asking for account-wide ignores simply dont seem to use the current ignore feature.
they announce in their posts, in all caps, that they are ignoring someone…
but then they proceed to reply to that person’s messages…
i think perhaps the issue here is that those who want the account wide ignore feature simply don’t know how to turn on the current ignore system.

if people can’t control their behavior, that is the biggest reason to not have account wide ignore…
because then people will not be able to stop themselves from using the account wide ignore feature to identify alts.
I do that myself, but Im not the one screaming for the block and making continuous threads about it like some.
IF they were THAT serious about a block seems to me theyd block you and pretend you dont exist instead of posting at you every post you make

What theyve done to me is, I tell them Im muting the thread, so they know I wont get alerts. NUMEROUS times over all these threads they’ll start false flagging posts (which end up restored lol) because they know I WILL have to see the green “youve been flag bombed” notification. lol.
Ive fallen for that one quite a few times and been drawn back in. lol.
