You’re the one who is making the claim, which means, you want to track peoples alts to stalk/harass them.

but capslock used a third party tool to find a user’s alts and then broadcasted those alts for the entire forum to see, while insulting the person.

this is the type of behavior that would run rampant if we allowed account wide ignore to be implemented on the wow forums.

That is a flat out lie. Why would someone place someone on ignore just to track the alts? This didn’t happen when people were using Cogshanks on the old forums.

i would prefer it if everyone discussed this in a polite manner.

when people have differences, it is best to be polite when interacting with eachother so that the differences can be sorted in a kind manner.

in my opinion, i believe that the forum ignore system works fine right now.

you may disagree with that, but it is completely fine for two people to disagree. disagreements happen sometimes and its completely ok

Did I hear somebody say that the ignore system is perfect and it doesn’t need any changes? everytime whenever someone says “The ignore system is perfect and it doesn’t need changes” or some variation of it, I update to my list of my characters you have to truly ignore me and aswell post on the character that got added.
