You know, someone acts like if we put a person on ignore. We are going to go waaaaay out of our way to read through thousands of topics to find if there are any “hidden messages”.
Some people think to highly of themselves, me thinks.

there’s also the idea that the forums will somehow join together as one to lock people out of discussions, which I think this thread has disproven already

well there are a myriad of options…
they can find the person’s alts in game and whisper those
or whisper their guild leader
or say bad things in trade chat on their server…

just because you think something has been disproven doesn’t necessarily mean that is the case.
Well, if you wasn’t so insufferable on the forums, people wouldn’t pester you in game. But then again, use the tools given to you as you think things are so perfect.
people don’t pester me in game because i don’t allow people on the forums to know my main.
i have a wonderful time in game, would be a huge disappointment to ruin that fun just so a couple people on the forums could have their account-wide ignore (which really isn’t necessary)
