For how much is actually in the game all expansions thats a tall order

They sorta do already. Most of the orginal models have long been replaced. Its kinda rare to find any in game anymore.

They can’t even bother to lip sync major cinematics and cut scenes for brand new expansions. You think they’re going to remaster the entire game? You must be new.

They’re kinda sorta doing that already but very very slowly. Maybe by Titan they’ll dial up the graphics for the grand finale another notch higher than normal.

Surely there must be a way to use AI to fix those godawful trees in Felwood at least. Some of those old elements are absolutely hideous.
Then don’t go there.
That’s exactly what some of us really love about zones such as Felwood.

No, I like being able to play WoW at a somewhat reasonable framerate.

Please god no. No more remasters, how about something actually new, even if it’s still based on WoW.
I want WoW to absorb StarCraft, have the Zerg and Protoss attack Azeroth, and the Terran side with us to fight them off.
Eventually all 3 become playable races.

The overcartoony modern Blizzard graphics would take away from from it I think
They could update the skyboxes and trees to BfA standard fairly easily. That alone would be a significant refresh.

What would a remaster entail?
They cant even put out a simple World Scenario that works correctly. How the hell you expect them to revamp this whole game?
Impossible with the current devs. Mabe if they hire that Dev that made “Schedule 1” by himself. he could prob solo it in 6 months or less.

After reading through the comments I now understand why Blizzard will NEVER remaster this game.
It’s entire community is made up of people that hate change. You can’t teach an old dog new tricks.
On top of that imagine a WoW 2 where these people have to start over with no mounts, pets, nor transmogs…they will lose their minds.
If I walked into most of your homes I would probably see dust on everything, candy in a bowl that is all stuck together, an old clock that chimes, trinkets everywhere I looked, a rotary phone, dial up internet, and rocking chairs. Then you would put in your dentures and scream at me “NO MORE CHANGES”.

Yes… it would mostly just be a graphical update. That said one of blizzards design goals with wow was to make it run on as many machines as possible so I don’t think they would. Least not till they get multicore in at least.
