So if someone tries to send us a whisper, they get an auto reply like “this player does not currently accept whispers”
Or an option to just disable whispers from people that aren’t guildies or friends etc?
I want to filter out all the strangers whispers, most of the time it’s a toxic message I am not interested in reading anyways.

Yes! There is a way to disable whispers, you can remove them from your window by right clicking the tab and going into the tab settings.
I dont think there is a way to have a blocking message or outgoing reply… but if you right click on your chat and go into settings, you can select/de-select whats shown in your chat pane. Just uncheck the box for whispers, or create a new window, and put only pm’s in there and either never read it, or only check it when you need some inner punishment.
I remember a time when we used to have a Do Not Disturb setting, by typing “/dnd” in your chatbox, and I actually dont know if its still in the game or not? Being at my office, I cannot verify currently, hopefully someone better informed knows its status.
