wildstar had nice hoverboards but it became old fast. for skateboards/hoverboards to be fun you need gravity physics heh.
i made a nice halfpipe ramp in my personal housing plot but it got boring real quick

WildStar hoverboards never got old for me. We could customize them, we could do tricks on them, they ran over water, there were race events, there were all kinds of track bits in the housing system so we could make our own skate parks. I wish WoW had any mount system as fun as WS hoverboards were.
it needed acceleration when going downhill imo.
you could build massive ramps and rails but it never felt any good to me D:

With that said, I think WoW characters are too rigid for a Skateboard to look good.

You get bunch of circular hoverboard from MOP, that’s the best you’ll get. WAITAMINUTE, there was a green standard deck shaped hoverboard consumable from legion, somewhere in argus if I remember correctly from whatever little attention I was paying to the game.

I was in Branson, Mo a week ago. I was waiting to get on a scenic train, and the sign in the loading area said no skateboarding.
It made me smile because it was so out of place. Right at that moment I wanted my old board back so I could do some really bad tricks while flipping off the conductor.

The fact that i’ve been playing a lot of TMNT SR lately, i heavily support this idea.

BfA did give engineers something like that. A consumable item that let you skate across water, for a short time. Very disappointing. I would’ve much preferred a jetski, as a mount.
Let’s do it. Also, I’d like my WoW golf too.
Skating and golf could function like pet battles that don’t interact with the world per se.
You could still see people though and in certain instances they could see you.
There’s a surfboard from island expeditions that functions like the fishing raft, but slower.
