Can we get a full spark day 1?

Hello,

Do you guys know what can be acquired on day 1?

  • 1600CR tier piece
  • 1 crafted piece (2 half-sparks) ? Or did they make it a half each week?
  • Does the catalyst work? So you can buy one piece with sparks and transform it for a total of two tier pieces?

Idk but I was able to do heroic dungeons today

I got one Splinter from RBG quest and one from a Blitz

So yes, two splinters is possible and I’m now the proud owner of a pair of epic pants

Have you checked the catalyst though? I flew there but from its UI I could not figure out if I had 0 charges, or no upgrade-able gear, therefore it was not showing me anything?

Because if it works, I can buy a shouder/gloves piece for 7 trophies and upgrade it for a 2-set

I plugged my Elite WPvP shoulders into the catalyst and I had one charge to spend. So it seems catalyst is active :+1:

Hey,

I just did the same, and my Elite Hellbloom shoulders lost the “increased item level in PVP” component after I put them in the catalyst. Can you check if yours work, please?

I didn’t actually Catalyze mine yet, because they have better secondaries than the Catalyzed tier

You should open a ticket to see if that’s intended, because Catalyzing my Hellbloom into tier never reduced their ilvl in PvP last season

Hellbloom is the s3 gear, are you sure you used a s4 piece? called draconic now.

Yes, it’s this one, “Draconic Warmonger’s Epaulets”. It says 463 ilvl (525 im PVP). When I upgraded it to tier with the catalyst it remained 463 ilvl, but the 525 part disappeared. And it doesn’t increase when I hit the PVP dummy at all, tried in arenas - same thing.

I just tested mine again by tagging it in Catalyst and its tooltip said it’d upgrade ilvl in PvP.

Still haven’t spent it yet because you’ve scared me :weary:

But Blizz should at least refund your catalyst if the tooltip is inaccurate

Many others have complained, one guy even had a ticket response “we don’t refund gear”

So be careful, it seems bugged

Did they admit whether or not it bugged?

Because the tooltip says it should upgrade to 525

I can try it on an alt and will report back

Support can’t refund catalyst charges. What is likely to happen is the gear will be fixed to give the proper ilvl increase in pvp
