Can we get a Demon Hunter rotation that doesn't revolve around vengeful retreat for once?

Im tired of back flipping to trash in m+

Apparently not, the dev’s favorite skill is VR.

I would just like VR to actually work.

Yeah now add in perfectly timing essence break on your backflip or risk completely missing your micro burst cool down.

I actually like veng retreat. Looks cool and feels like I’m in the matrix. Hate everything that happens after for the next 4s.

And now you get to enjoy being forced to fully retreat back the full distance and not being able to cancel it with felblade. Weee

If you’re backflipping into trash packs, never play Arcane Mage

Yeah not a huge fan of this one either.

It has been my experience on PRT that this change actually makes it smoother. Right now it is possible to FB too soon and not cancel the VR leap back animation. The added cool down ensure that you can not make that mistake and if you press it as soon as the cool down is up, you will leap right back to the target.

They added a conditional to make VR cancel the animation at any given time, doesn’t matter if too close to the target, but they added the lock at the same time.

The change is overall, bad, as it removed VR animation cancelling completely.

Using felblade to get back to the mob is fine. The short lockout isn’t long and they fixed the issue if you are still in the hit box it just cancels the VR animation.

I tested it on PTR and had no issue doing it.

Movement is engaging the only reason I play DH because every other specs require you to stand still and DPS. Boring af.

On PTR the lockout is bugged and can be ignored if you use a specific AR talent.

The lockout should be just as long as the Fel Rush lockout, which prevents animation cancelling entirely.

In fact, the lockout will make you move pretty much the entire distance of VR, which defeats the whole purpose of animation canceling.

This change is terrible and shows a massive disconnecting as to why VR → Felblade was used to begin with.
